💡 Excited to announce that Dextera Consulting has joined REMERGE, a groundbreaking four-year Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges project advancing personalised cardiovascular care!

🫀 Cardiovascular disease remains the world’s leading health burden, with global mortality projected to exceed 32 million by 2050. Digital health tools like virtual patient twins hold immense power to predict disease progression and optimise treatment, but moving them from theory to daily clinical practice requires strong cross-sector collaboration.

The project is funded by the European Union under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges, and coordinated by the Harokopio University of Athens, REMERGE unites 7 partners across 6 countries - combining clinical expertise, academic research, and SME innovation.

Dextera is proud to lead Work Package 4 (REMERGE Integrated Platform). Our team will:

✔ Drive the core integration of multi-scale virtual twin models, AI/ML analytics, and clinical data flows.

✔ Implement robust data security and privacy-by-design standards across the platform.

✔ Leverage our expertise in serious games and AI-enabled mobile apps to turn complex clinical findings into accessible, engaging tools for clinicians and patients.

Expanding specialized healthcare to every child, everywhere! 🏥🌐

We are incredibly proud to celebrate another major milestone for digital health in Greece: Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" has officially activated its Telemedicine Station under the National Telemedicine Network (ΕΔΙΤ)!

As part of this initiative, the hospital successfully hosted its dedicated EDIT Information Days, bringing together pediatricians and clinical staff for hands-on training. Guided by the technical expertise and deployment support of the Dextera team, medical professionals explored the station's full clinical potential:

🔹 Hands-On Clinical Experience: Gaining direct proficiency with advanced telemedicine equipment while broadening clinical exposure to diverse regional pediatric cases across Greece.

🔹 Official "EDIT Physician" Certification: Unlocking continuous, certified access to the National Telemedicine Network upon completion of specialized training.

🔹 Flexible Scheduling Autonomy: Empowering clinicians with complete control over their availability, seamlessly integrating remote consultations through fully customizable, pre-arranged virtual appointments."

Through this network integration, clinical teams gain massive exposure to diverse regional cases and earn official "EDIT Physician" certification - all with total scheduling flexibility.

Expanding the National Telemedicine Network: Dextera at Pyli Health Center

Dextera’s CEO and Managing Partner, Ioannis Drakopoulos, along with Business Development Director, Fotis Kouris, recently attended a landmark event at the Pyli Health Center, celebrating the expansion of the National Telemedicine Network (ΕΔΙΤ), developed under the "Greece 2.0" National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

During the event, Ioannis Drakopoulos presented the network's operational capabilities before distinguished guests, including the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, and the Governor of the 5th Health Region (Υ.ΠΕ.) of Thessaly & Central Greece, Fotis Seretis, both of whom commended the initiative for bringing upgraded primary healthcare services to citizens.

The presentation concluded with a live demonstration of a telemedicine evaluation, connecting the Pyli Health Center directly with the Outpatient Clinics of the University General Hospital of Larissa, showcasing how advanced healthcare can reach regional communities instantly. As Coordinating Director Giannis Koutsonasios highlighted, telemedicine is proving to be an essential tool for frontline medical teams.

We are thrilled to celebrate "G. Gennimatas" Athens General Hospital as it officially activates its Telemedicine Station within the framework of National Telemedicine Network (EDIT). Joining a robust network that has been steadily expanding across the country, this initiative marks another major step in connecting central healthcare institutions with remote mountainous, island, and underserved regions of the country.

🌐 Η Τηλεϊατρική στην πράξη: Ενισχύοντας την πρόσβαση στην υγεία σε απομακρυσμένες περιοχές.

Η ομάδα της Dextera βρέθηκε την Πέμπτη 30 Ιουλίου 2026 στο Πολυδύναμο Περιφερειακό Ιατρείο (ΠΠΙ) του οικισμού Ρουπακιάς, στο πλαίσιο των εξειδικευμένων δράσεων των Κινητών Μονάδων Τηλεϊατρικής - Κ.ΟΜ.Υ.

🩺 Αξιοποιώντας τον προηγμένο εξοπλισμό της βαλίτσας τηλεϊατρικής, επιτεύχθηκε η γεφύρωση της απόστασης και η επιτυχής σύνδεση του Π.Π.Ι. με το Γ.Ν. Πατρών «Άγιος Ανδρέας».

Τα αποτελέσματα της δράσης:

◾8 ολοκληρωμένες τηλεσυνεδρίες για ασθενείς με ανάγκη καρδιολογικής και πνευμονολογικής παρακολούθησης.

◾ Άμεση διασύνδεση με τον σταθμό ΣΤΙΣ του Νοσοκομείου «Άγιος Ανδρέας».

◾ Πλήρης διαγνωστικός έλεγχος με τη χρήση ψηφιακού στηθοσκοπίου, οξύμετρου, καρδιογράφου και σπιρόμετρου.

🧑‍⚕️ Η ιατρική αξιολόγηση πραγματοποιήθηκε από τον εκπαιδευμένο και πιστοποιημένο από την Dextera ιατρό ΕΔΙΤ, κ. Τσιρώνη, με την ουσιαστική υποστήριξη του νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού των Κ.ΟΜ.Υ., το οποίο εκπαιδεύτηκε από την εταιρεία μας στη χρήση του εξοπλισμού τηλεϊατρικής.

Η Dextera συμμετείχε ενεργά στην πανελλαδική καμπάνια ενημέρωσης για το Εθνικό Δίκτυο Τηλεϊατρικής, ΕΔIΤ.

Μέσα από τρεις ενημερωτικές ημερίδες σε Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη και Λάρισα, αναδείχθηκε ο ουσιαστικός ρόλος της τηλεϊατρικής στη δημιουργία ενός πιο ισότιμου, προσβάσιμου και σύγχρονου συστήματος υγείας.

Στις ημερίδες παρουσιάστηκαν οι δυνατότητες του ΕΔIΤ, η αξία της διαλειτουργικότητας, η αξιοποίηση δεδομένων σε πραγματικό χρόνο και οι νέες προοπτικές για την τηλεπαρακολούθηση ασθενών στο σπίτι.

Η Dextera συμμετείχε με επτά θεματικές ομιλίες και παρουσιάσεις, συμβάλλοντας στον διάλογο για την τεχνολογία, την κλινική πρακτική και το μέλλον της ψηφιακής υγείας στην Ελλάδα.

Η συνεργασία θεσμικών φορέων, επαγγελματιών υγείας, τεχνοκρατών και αναδόχων είναι απαραίτητη για να μετατραπεί η καινοτομία σε καθημερινή, αξιόπιστη φροντίδα για κάθε πολίτη, όπου κι αν βρίσκεται.
