To understanding analytics in Wix

1. Add ‘Visitor Analytics’ to your site and download the app to your mobile device
2. Check ‘Top Referring Sites’ to identify traffic
3. Learn if visitors are new or returning
4. Use ‘Unique’ data as opposed to ‘Total’
5. Make sure you check the data weekly and create monthly reports to monitor changes

1️⃣ It’s good to know how many people are visiting your site (Unique Visitors) and from those visiting how many pages are they looking at and how long are they spending on the site. This allows you to understand, are visitors coming but not taking an action (sale or complete form). This could also mean the content is to short or not reflective of what you said it was.

2️⃣ If your getting visitors and sessions but not form completion or enquiries you may need to look at your call to actions. Are you promoting your visitors to take a strong action or is it so far down the page they left before seeing.

3️⃣ Lastly look at which sites are pushing the most traffic to your website, it may mean you could push more campaigns, social post or activity or you need to tailor your post on the other channels to engage that daisies more. Remember no two social sites will attract the same audience.

KEY HEADINGS
1. Unique Sessions - How many pages and button clicks a visitor took within 30 minutes
2. Unique Visitors - How many people visited your website. Remember to minus yourself from the total numbers
3. Average Session Duration - How long someone is spending on your site

Don’t ignore your website once it’s built, make regular updates and refresh the content ideally monthly. Add a reminder in your calendar to check and optimise your site, if you have a blog or news section aim to upload new content monthly.

Only 64% of small businesses have their own website. By having your own website and online, you will be able to reach more customers both locally and internationally. It’s also an easy opportunity to attract people who sit outside of your network. The more customers you reach online, the more opportunities you have to make a sale = profit. I will add without time + investment, developing a website doesn't automatically bring paying customers to your business.

It’s time to readjust our glasses, minds and focus as we step further into 2020. We are already near the end of the month.⠀

Before you lose sight of some of the things you’d like to achieve. ⠀

Here’s a little checklist ⠀

1. Write out your goals in a notepad/ brainstorm if you're unsure⠀

2. Align a quote or biblical scripture to each goal. This will bring focus, alignment and clarification when you ask yourself your reasoning behind the goal.⠀

3. Leave it for a few days to meditate and pray over how, when, what, where and how.⠀

4. Take your top 3 goals and list them out on a fresh bit of paper ⠀

5. Using a monthly calendar enter in each month, monthly steps/ actions it going to take for you to achieve each goal. ⠀

It doesn’t mean try and achieve everything in 2020 but gives yourself some focus steps so you don’t lose sight. ⠀

Don’t forget to factor in some me time to recalibrate 💖⠀
