The Grand Black Sea Forum Hosted by Karadeniz Technical University Successfully Completed
📍 Coordinated by KTU TTC and hosted by Karadeniz Technical University,
📅 the Grand Black Sea Forum, held on 10–12 December 2025, was successfully carried out with high participation and rich content over three days.
🌍 The Forum was organized as an activity of the T3N-BSB – Transnational Technology Transfer Network for the Black Sea Basin Project, financed under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme and led by KTU TTC.
🏆 Within the scope of the Forum, approximately 60 projects from 5 different countries and various cities of Türkiye participated in the Project Competition.

Technology Transfer Ecosystem Capacity Building Trainings Successfully Completed🎯

🌍Within the scope of the Transnational Technology Transfer Network for the Black Sea Basin (T3N-BSB) project, supported by the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, the "Technology Transfer Ecosystem Capacity Building Trainings" organized with the contributions of project partners have been successfully completed.✅

The trainings, which were held separately in Türkiye, Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania—four in total—were based on eight training modules developed under the project. A total of 167 participants, including TTO staff, researchers, students, industry representatives, and entrepreneurs, attended the sessions in full.

The training content was designed based on the specific needs of the target groups and covered the following topics:

🔹Management and Licensing of Intellectual Property Rights

🔹Developing Entrepreneurial Skills in Technology Transfer

🔹Innovation Management

🔹Management of Technological Collaboration

🔹Introduction to Technology Brokerage

🔹Research Marketing and Technology Transfer

🔹Management and Sustainability of Technology Transfer Activities

🔹Access to International Funding Sources

📰At the end of the training sessions, a final exam was conducted to evaluate participants’ knowledge. Participants who achieved a success rate of 90% or higher were awarded certificates approved by the project consortium.

Ως εταίρος του διασυνοριακού έργου T3N-BSB, η #ΣΠΕΙΡΑ - Γραφείο Μεταφοράς Τεχνολογίας του #ΕΚΕΤΑ συνέβαλε στη δημιουργία του Καταλόγου Υποσχόμενων και Ώριμων Τεχνολογιών και Καινοτομιών στη Μαύρη Θάλασσα. Ο κατάλογος περιλαμβάνει 63 τεχνολογίες από την Ελλάδα, την Τουρκία, τη Βουλγαρία και τη Ρουμανία, οι οποίες αξιολογήθηκαν ως προς τη δυνατότητα εμπορικής αξιοποίησης, τους τομείς εφαρμογής και τη δυνατότητα κλιμάκωσής της προτεινόμενης λύσης.

📗 Catalogue of Promising and Mature Technologies and Innovations in BSB Published!

A catalogue of promising and mature technologies in the Black Sea Basin countries has been published as part of the T3N-BSB Project.

The catalogue, entitled ‘A Catalogue of Promising and Mature Technologies in the Black Sea Basin Countries,’ was published as part of the T3N-BSB Project led by KTÜ TTM. ✅

📌 A total of 63 technologies developed in partnership with institutions from Türkiye (KTU TTC), Bulgaria (BATTI), Romania (UDJG) and Greece (CERTH), which have national impact but do not yet have sufficient visibility on an international scale, were evaluated using the "Multidimensional Analysis Tool" created within the scope of the T3N-BSB project. Following the evaluations, a "Catalogue of Promising and Mature Technologies and Innovations in BSB " was created.

This catalogue:

🔹 Intellectual property status
🔹 Commercialisation potential
🔹 Application areas
🔹 Scalability potential
is structured under these headings and has been published as a strategic resource for investors, entrepreneurs, and public and private sector representatives to aid in decision-making.

💡 Technologies from four different countries were analysed not only according to their technical maturity, but also according to their social contribution, investment appeal and international scalability.

Στο πλαίσιο του έργου T3N-BSB σχεδιάσαμε και υλοποιήσαμε εκπαιδεύσεις για την "Ενίσχυση Ικανοτήτων του Οικοσυστήματος Μεταφοράς Τεχνολογίας" στην Ελλάδα, Τουρκία, Βουλγαρία και Ρουμανία.

Συνολικά 167 συμμετέχοντες –στελέχη Γραφείων Μεταφοράς Τεχνολογίας, ερευνητές, φοιτητές, επιχειρηματίες και εκπρόσωποι της βιομηχανίας– εκπαιδεύτηκαν σε 8 θεματικές ενότητες που κάλυψαν θέματα όπως Διαχείριση Δικαιωμάτων Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας, Καινοτομία, Τεχνολογική Συνεργασία, Τεχνολογική Διαμεσολάβηση και Πρόσβαση σε Διεθνείς Χρηματοδοτήσεις.
