Social media platforms are being used dangerously and recklessly by the majority of black men and black women. No longer are some of us seeing ourselves as humans with dignity and self-respect, but rather as objects, mere "bodies of flesh" and s*x and our s*xually on offer.

Empty minds lacking vision and purpose and puerile cognitive brain functions are being displayed by many on social media to get attention, "likes" and "followers."

A demonstration of persons with very painful and bitter past experiences in life, frustration in life, a damaged psyche, and very dysfunctional future mental, personal, social, and other expectations. The outlook for many of them is very dim !

How sad we are as a people today. Our ancestors are insulted and ashamed by our lack of good and proper character and conduct.

So many of us repeatedly talk about and use this word called love, yet we repeatedly abuse and disgrace ourselves publicly before the world in so many ways and for so many years yet we call that "our freedom to do as I please". Behaviors and actions with zero responsibility!

Distrust, envy, hate, treachery, and divisiveness are rampant among our relationships, family members, homes, and our communities.

Let's ask ourselves this question: What principles do we stand for in life? What good do we inspire in others? After we are dead and buried, what shining example will we leave behind for others to follow?
