The Stream and the Skyscraper: Finding Flow on Braemar Hill 🌿🏙️

Nestled on the slopes of Braemar Hill lies a hidden pocket of raw nature. Standing on an old stone bridge, listening to the stream carve its way through massive rocks, you can almost forget how close you are to the heart of Hong Kong.

But then you look through the canopy of green leaves, and there they are—the distant, towering skyscrapers of the concrete jungle.

Practicing Taichi in this exact spot reminded me of a vital truth: we don‘t need to run away from our busy lives to find peace. Like the stream passing smoothly around the heavy boulders, we can learn to flow effortlessly around the demands of the modern world.
You can stand in the middle of the city, yet keep your mind as tranquil as a mountain forest.

When the Blue of the Sea Meets the Blue of the Sky 🌊☁️

Standing on the edge of Pottinger Peak, the horizon completely disappears. The water and the sky blend into a single, breathtaking shade of blue.

In the middle of this vast infinity, I felt incredibly small—yet completely connected. Clad in white, practicing each posture with intention, the boundary between the self and nature seemed to dissolve.

True peace doesn‘t come from conquering the mountain; it comes from allowing yourself to flow with it. When the mind is as still as the distant horizon, you realize that space and stillness are already inside you.

Finding Flow at the Cinque Terre of Hong Kong 🌊🎨

Ma Wan 1868 is a place where time seems to slow down—a vibrant seaside art community built on the heritage of a century-old fishing village.

For this stop in my Mountains and Waters series, I took my friend for a taste of moving meditation in the heart of the village square. There is a beautiful contrast in practicing here; you are surrounded by the history of 1868 and the creative murals of today, all while looking out at the majestic Tsing Ma Bridge.

It was the perfect afternoon to share the “Zenith” experience—integrating breath and movement against one of Hong Kong’s most iconic horizons.
Whether you are in a quiet village or a bustling city, the center is always within reach. ✨

Body Centered. Mind Boundless.

Saturday morning at the Hung Hom waterfront. 🌊
While the city begins its weekend hum, we find a different kind of momentum. In Taichi, we say that the slow movement is what allows the mind to finally catch up.
At the edge of Victoria Harbour, the sea breeze doesn’t just cool the air—it purifies the breath. By slowing the body, we create the internal space needed for high-level clarity.
This is how we sustain performance. Not by pushing harder, but by flowing better.
