Every year mooncake packaging contributes heavily to Hong Kong’s mounting landfill crisis.⁣

💚Keenly Green💚 is the only one that supplies eco-friendly, biodegradable & recyclable mooncake trays made of sugarcane bagasse. ⁣
Since 2020, .hk .lab.hk has been joining us. ⁣

① 望月 - 純素奶黃月餅

純素成分：
Faba Butter 純素牛油和其他植物性原材料

Faba Butter 是來自美國的純素牛油品牌
其主要成分為：椰子油、葵花籽油、
海鹽、營養酵母、鷹嘴豆等

Only 10 minutes to drink with a plastic straw, but 400-500 years for one to be broken down.
For paper straw, It takes from 10 - 20 years for trees to grow until they are large enough for harvesting.
In 2020, Keenly Green successfully replace 3millions of plastic, paper & PLA straws in Hong Kong to our edible straw made from rice and tapioca that are naturally extracted from the Earth and return back to nature after biodegrading with 100days. 
Believe or not , our ultimate goals is reduce producing & selling our straw.
Hong Kong’s overall plastic straw consumption, which has dropped from 1.7 billion in 2017 to 1 billion in 2020.
We can do better in 2021! For our kids , For our future 🌍

Autism Partnership Foundation (APF), a charity body in Hong Kong, is committed to making a difference to the lives of children with autism and their families. They provide intensive Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy and other related services for underprivileged children with autism in Hong Kong. 大家好，我和丈夫創立了品牌Keenly Green，希望通過提倡使用我們的可食用大米飲管，提高及推廣零浪費意識（無浪費飲及食）。
我們正向減廢目標再邁出新一步，嘗試探究如何減少疫情期間口罩對環境造成的污染。
我們向大家介紹由瑞士HEIQ研發的可重用棉質口罩，採用創新物料表面處理技術VIROBLOCK，能有效抑制細菌,抵抗病毒包括SARS-CoV-2（冠狀病毒家族的包膜病毒，導致COVID-19）。HeiQ Viroblock FFP2 口罩，通過ISO 18184及ISO 20743測試證明具有強效抗菌及抗包膜病毒能力。口罩可以60度水清洗30次。
口罩由斯里蘭卡的基層婦女製作，她們生活在貧窮線之下，工作受新冠肺炎影響。婦女們透過生產口罩工作維持家庭最基本的生活需要。

We are taking a next step in our journey and trying to explore if we help reduce the waste created by face masks used during the current Pandemic.

We now have a reusable cotton mask made of innovative fabric treatment from Swiss HEIQ, in the world to be proven effective against SARS-CoV-2(an enveloped virus from the coronavirus family that causes COVID-19) in the laboratory.

The mask is made by workers in Sri Lanka, primarily women, who are often the lifeline to keeping their families out of poverty and whose jobs are currently at stake due to economic uncertainty caused by COVID-19 pandemic.  

Also, 100% of the profit from this initiative will go to the under privileged kids in HK (we are carefully trying to pick the right organisation for this). Our initial goal is to sell 5000 of these to generate enough profit to make impact on environment plus someone's life.

【 】望月與甘蔗月餅杯的故事

望月今年開始使用100%甘蔗纖維製造的月餅杯，取代過去沿用的透明膠杯，前者優點是易於被大自然分解，不對環境帶來傷害。我們期望以微小力量，為地球未來盡一點綿力，以貫徹今年望月其中一個企業理念「Do Less Harm」。 其實使用甘蔗杯的概念，早於2016年萌生，但當時計畫受制於開發成本及起訂量，無奈擱置。直到今年時機成熟，加上認識到理念一致的供應商 Keenly Green () 所以重啟計畫，目標是減少每年數以萬計的塑膠杯，減少對大自然的污染。

望月「Do Less Harm」的理念，是希望每個人願意多走一步，即使微不足道，也要相信世界會因為我們每人每人的一小步變得更好。
