Yes, they may look beautiful. And yes, they may light up a table. But beware! V-shaped goblets are not friends of any wine! In fact, the open shape means little-to-no aroma, and a very imprecise delivery onto the palate, which means the wine’s acidity, fruit and tannin are thrown off-balance. Pick the right shape bowl for your favourite wine… it will thank you for it!
