🌏 Reflections from APEAR Conference Seoul 2026 🌏

It was inspiring to join peers across Asia Pacific to explore how Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) can thrive in an unpredictable world of change and AI transformation.
Key insights included:
🔹 The evolving role of EAP beyond traditional mental health services.
🔹 Opportunities and risks of AI in counselling—balancing innovation with human connection.
🔹 Global partnerships and emerging practices that link wellbeing to organizational resilience.

✨Grateful to the APEAR for the exchange of ideas, and to our partners and clients for walking this journey with us. Together, we continue to redefine EAP as a proactive enabler of leadership, wellbeing, and sustainable growth.

🌏 APEAR Conference Seoul 2026

✅ Positive Practice
✅ Relationship Enhancement
✅ Individual Attributes
✅ Dynamic Leadership

📣【Press Conference: Hong Kong Positive Organization Index (POI) Survey 】
Amidst a shifting socioeconomic landscape, both employers and employees in Hong Kong are grappling with escalating pressures. Between December 2024 and November 2025, Employee Development Service of Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS) and Four Dimensions Consulting Limited (Four Dimensions) conducted an online survey among 923 respondents spanning 21 industries.
🔍 Key Findings:
• the average Positive Organization Index (POI) score for Hong Kong organisations stands at 65 out of 100.
• Critical Weaknesses: Stress and Emotional Management, Crisis Response.
• Signal a gap in the mental health support systems provided by Hong Kong employers.

In 2013, HKCS and Four Dimensions jointly developed the world's first Positive Organization Index (POI), grounded in the principles of Positive Organizational Scholarship. This framework systematically evaluates and promotes positive organisational development across five core pillars with 25 effective positive strategies.

The Study confirmed a positive correlation: higher POI scores align with better organisational outcomes. Ms Angel Leung, Clinical Psychologist and Case Manager at Four Dimensions, emphasised that positivity should be viewed as an essential investment rather than a discretionary expense.’
We encourage all organizations to adopt the Positive Organization Index to enhance their positive initiatives! It’s more than just an assessment tool; it’s a roadmap for boosting sustainable success.

Mind Snacks

✨ EAP Networking Recap: Integrating Wellness into ESG Practices ✨

A sincere thank you to the HR professionals, training practitioners, and management leaders who joined our recent networking session.
Together, we moved beyond theory to explore how employee holistic wellness and social care can be practically integrated into corporate sustainability (ESG) frameworks. A key highlight was our collaboration with Kong Christian Service Story Workshop (故事工房), where we explored the Micro-wellness Intervention formula:
Experience + Storytelling × Interaction = Mind Snacks

Through this formula, participants engaged in a craft workshop led by youth and elderly tutors. This interaction enabled participants to unwind while directly experiencing the resilience of different communities through 'Storytelling.' It demonstrates the multi-dimensional value of 'Mind Snacks': creating a moment of relaxation for employees while taking practical action to support social inclusion and effectively aligning corporate goals with social care."

Thank you for your time and for sharing your valuable insights. We look forward to seeing you at our future events!

🌟 Stay tuned for more upcoming updates!
