【For entrepreneurs who are facing challenges now】
In this current situation, many people are scared due to what’s happening in the world. Coronavirus are spreaded around the world while government emergency policies are changing every single day. Entrepreneurs have endless questions from the security of business, cash flow to marketing strategy.
It is a time full of challenges and uncertainty. We are human, and it is absolutely normal to have different feelings when watching the overwhelming news of the virus. However, past experience tells me that it will eventually pass no matter what attitude you were towards the episodes. During this transition, it leaves 2 types of people: people who failed from this crisis and people who thrived to be succeed from this opportunity. I want you to be the latter one.
There are 3 things I advise you to keep in mind in this hard time:
1) Stay safe and healthy
Safety and health are always the first priority in our life. Do not panic on the situation doesn’t mean do nothing towards the virus. Raise your personal hygiene to the highest level. Wear masks when you go out. Wash your hands and sanitize the objects that you touch frequently. Stay at home and avoid social connections even if your country is not under mandatory quarantine policy.
Boost your immune system by having nutritious food and regular exercises. Good quality sleep is also important to keep yourself energetic and clear in mind.
2) Maintain momentum in your business
When everyone is busy browsing the internet on the most updated information on coronavirus, you should keep moving forward on your business.
Opportunity comes when people are always staying at home, they are watching and interacting on social media all the time. It’s time for you to promote and grow your business online. Deliver your message in social media more oftenly to help your audience. Create Ads campaigns and content to let more people know about you and buy from you. It is also the best time for you to make new connections and collaboration with other people.
Precautions: You should not take advantage of the pain and loss from coronavirus. You can make more sales in this period but you should not make sales ON it. It may be a disgusting behaviour.
3) Consider a transition of your business
Due to the large scale quarantine all over the world, many physical businesses are going to shut down. However, it is the opportunity to transition your business to online, or at least add a virtual component.
I have seen many physical events and conferences cancelled, but they changed to virtual conferences. Some clinics and gyms closed down temporarily, but they offer online self-help programs. Nobody knows when the world will return to normal. Online business or business with virtual components should be the best opportunity in 2020, no matter what industry you are in.
If you are reading articles online in major media, you can find a lot of information on the solutions and trends towards the adverse effects on business due to the spread of virus. In the PR world, we never stop because there are always opportunities in this rapidly changing world. You can also find your opportunities in the period of crisis.
Hope you enjoy this article and can implement it into your life and business. Tell me below about your challenge and your opportunity in your business.
Stay safe and strong.
