This month, Prof. Higa shares an article about a primary school in Wales that is piloting an innovative Bokashi and composting system to reduce food waste and promote environmental education. 🇬🇧♻️
The project demonstrates how EM Bokashi can help schools recycle food waste on-site while providing students with hands-on learning opportunities about sustainability, soil health, and circular food systems.
Inspired by this example, Prof. Higa also reflects on the early development of EM Technology in Europe, recalling its introduction in 1995 and the efforts of dedicated pioneers who helped spread EM throughout the region.
