Today, my wife got upset because a cat stole a piece of fish from the table.
She immediately took off after it with a spray bottle in hand.
The cat ran.
My wife ran.
I simply watched from the sidelines.
Five minutes later, it was all over.
The cat got away.
The fish was gone.
And I was assigned the task of buying more fish. 😭😂
Marriage fact: sometimes in a situation like this, the culprit escapes... but the husband still ends up facing the consequences. 🥲❤️

My wife has been making flour since this morning.
The house has been full of activity.
I wanted to help.
So I asked:
“Is there anything I can do?”
She replied:
“Just don’t step on the area I just cleaned.”
I immediately felt that this was a fairly challenging assignment. 😭😂

Today, my wife won a prize in a toothpaste purchase giveaway.
She came home with a huge smile on her face.
I immediately asked:
“What did you win?”
Proudly, she replied:
“A one-year supply of toothpaste!”
I was speechless for a few seconds. 😭😂
Because this might be the only prize that makes someone happy while also making them feel very responsible about brushing their teeth.
Marriage fact: sometimes a wife’s happiness isn’t measured by how big the prize is... but by how much money it saves on the household budget. 🥲❤️

She smiled.
I survived once again.

Today, my husband spotted some stepping stones in the park.
With complete confidence, he said:
“Watch this. My balance is still great!”
Then he started hopping from one stone to another like a professional athlete.
I was impressed.
Until he reached the last stone...
He lost his balance and performed a move that has never been recorded in the history of sports. 😭😂
Fortunately, he didn’t fall.
He immediately stood up straight and said:
“That was part of the technique.”
Marriage fact: sometimes a husband’s greatest skill isn’t maintaining his balance... it’s maintaining his dignity after almost losing it. 🥲❤️
