Corpus Christi Procession 2026

The annual Corpus Christi Procession will take place on the evening of 6th June - commencing after 7.30 mass in St.Patrick's Church, Ballyhaunis and will arrive at the Friary Church at approximately 8.30 pm. Refreshments will be available for people outside the Friary House. We are delighted that this important event in the church calendar is being celebrated in the Friary Church.

Heritage Week Historical Walking tour of Ballyhaunis Town will take place next Sunday 24th of August, led by local historian Paul Waldron. Assemble at the Friary at 3pm, and the tour will take approx. one and a half hours. FREE admission. Wear sensible footwear!

Today is our Top 2 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬, 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 to celebrate . This tip is about 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 "𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬" 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲, to reduce waste and adopt a circular economy mentality, which will become an area of focus this coming year.
