Firstly, we would like to thank Hugh Crowley for the great time spent as President of BNI Unity. He helped our Chapter begin and grow to where it is today.

Secondly, we would like to both congratulate and wish the best of luck to Denis Lordan of Fusion Performance in his new role as President. With a positive attitude and great ideas, we know our Chapter can develop and grow even further.

Last Friday, Bryan Houston, from Houston Office Supplies, gave a presentation on the fantastic projects they have recently been involved in. Support local and support this family run business.

A great night out yesterday was had 🌟

At BNI, attendance is highly important. However, we also know that events come up and life can get in the way. Therefore, we believe in substitutes when you cannot personally attend - whether it is an employee, a friend in a different business or your partner. Let somebody represent you and your brand, so you do not miss out.

Last Friday, Mairead from Mairead Collier Interiors spoke about how interior design has changed over the years.

Ready, set, go.

Last Friday, was a bit different to the others - Denis Lordan from Fusion Performance put our teamwork to the test. After putting us into two groups, we had to complete a challenge using poles and a ball. The first team to land the ball into the cup wins.

This activity hyped everybody up, while displaying how teams must work together to reach the end goal. As we all know there is no I in team, and we are often all stronger together.

If you are an individual athlete or part of a sports team and would like to improve your performance, Denis from Fusion Performance is the man you need to speak to. They offer different types of packages to help you succeed even further.

Daniel Walsh from Insight Insurance also won the best presentation of the week award - handed over by Valerie Neenan.

Last Friday, Mary from Cork Stroke Support spoke about the work they carry out on a daily basis.

From fitness regimes, to mental and physical support for both stroke survivors and their families, the care for their members is unconditional.

We are grateful to have you within our Chapter, and will aim to continue raising awareness and funds for such a fantastic, selfless charity.
