📣 OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR IS BACK!
On Monday, 17th August, we will be starting our annual Change for Life Collection and this year we will once again be calling to all doors throughout the estates of Drogheda.
- If you are in a position to do so, we would be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Every cent makes a difference to the work we do.
For the duration of the collection, we will have two groups of volunteers out each evening covering different areas of Drogheda. For your peace of mind, all of our volunteers will carry official identification and a Garda Síochána permit.
IMPORTANT: All collection buckets are sealed. Unfortunately, we will be unable to open the buckets to provide change, so please only donate what you are comfortable giving.
Where does your money go?
Every donation goes directly towards keeping Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue & Recovery Service running, including:
- Boat maintenance
- PPE and rescue equipment
- Fuel for our boats and vehicles
- Vehicle maintenance
- Station bills
- Insurance
- Equipment maintenance
- Training
…and all the other essential costs involved in operating our volunteer rescue service.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such amazing support from the people of Drogheda and the surrounding areas. It is because of your generosity that we can continue to provide our service when people need us most. ❤️
We are looking forward to getting out around Drogheda, meeting so many of you again and hopefully seeing plenty of familiar faces along the way!
