Computer Futures Ireland Alumni Meetups for former employees of Computer Futures Ireland Computer Futures Ireland was established in March 1998 by Lorne Knight and Barry Alistair.

Initially, the team operated from Computer Futures office in Birmingham before finding a home in 20 Upper Merrion Street in October 1998. Aside from Lorne and Barry, the original team members, at the point the office opened in Dublin, included Michael Cunningham (set up e-People), Gerry Nolan (http://stackand.Co), Sean Donnelly, Cherilyn Walthew and Fred McDonogh (who built Chase Resourcing and now owns Red Chair Recruitment)

Barry here - hope I find you well?

Believe it or not, it's almost 18 years since Lorne Knight and myself (along with Cherilyn Walthew, Fergal McDonogh, Sean Donnelly, Michael Cunningham, Colin Jacobs, Alan Smyth, and Gerry Nolan) landed in Ireland to open the CF Irish office!

Since launching CF in Ireland all those years ago, it's been inspiring to see people embark upon their recruiting journeys, and to hear stories of how they have gone on to build great careers, and in some cases, businesses.

So what are you doing now?? I'd love to meet up with you and our ex-CF colleagues in October, perhaps Thursday 13th, for a catch-up over a few drinks. Please let me know how that sounds?

Best
BArry
PS - it'd be great to get a big group out in October so please don't hesitate to share this link https://www.facebook.com/computerfuturesirelandalumni/ to your former CF colleagues who you are still be in touch with - thanks :)
