Friends, let’s go back.
Not to the beginning but to a place where echoes of youth forever exist.
Where nearly Men & Women just like me at the time, kids just out of school converging on the Quay fixed their wide eyes out into the dark, “are you going upstairs tonight? “
If the walls could talk they’d sing as a fella once said.
This is what I see when I think of the Spirit Store, I see myself with a tight haircut wearing a Harrington jacket, sneaking in to watch Jinx Lennon for the first time, in the old room, an experience eternally ironed onto my soul.
It’s a place where I soaked up conversation, gained and lost friends, sang, danced, laughed, fell, stood, wrote.
It’s a time capsule of memory, memories banked and memories soon to be born.

On the 16th of March I’m coming home again, with my band of brothers, armed with new songs, new stories and new perspectives to share.
It will be a communal event, lend me your voice and your presence and I will lend you mine, let us create something together.

Joining in the affray are Harry Hoban and the Brothers Kane & our own Orwells '84 .
