Big news for businesses looking to go solar! ☀️

The commercial solar grant has just had a major increase, with businesses now able to receive up to €325,200 towards a Solar PV system. 🙌

The new enhanced grant will cover up to 45% of eligible installation costs, making larger commercial solar projects much more accessible.

But this increase is only available for a limited time! ⏰

The enhanced grant will run for 9 months, from October 2026 to July 2027.

For businesses using large amounts of electricity every day, this could mean a much lower upfront cost AND significant savings on electricity bills for years to come. 💸

If solar has been on your business agenda, this might just be the push to get it moving! 👀

Today’s the big day - budget 2027!👀

Here is what’s changing:

✅New €600 battery grant for systems of 5kWh or larger.
✅Grant eligibility now extends to homes built and occupied before 2025, previously 2021.
✅The solar PV grant remains at up to €1,800.

A brilliant evening at The Big Upgrade! 🌱🏡

We were delighted to exhibit at The Big Upgrade, hosted by Connect Credit Union at the beautiful The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.

The event was all about helping people discover the greener options available for their homes and vehicles, as well as the Greenify loans available to help finance those upgrades. 🙌

Our team had a great evening chatting with the local community about solar PV, battery storage, SEAI grants and the different ways homeowners can take more control of their energy.

A fantastic turnout, plenty of great conversations and a really well-organised event from start to finish.

Our team recently completed this huge 664-panel Solar PV installation for Linencare Linen Services in Ardee.

With a busy laundry facility washing, drying and processing huge volumes of linen every day, electricity is a major part of the operation.

Now, a significant amount of that electricity can be generated right from the roof!💡

And we’re not finished showing this one off just yet… 👀

Solar from the ground up! ☀️

No suitable roof? No problem. Sometimes solar works just as well on the ground!

A ground-mounted solar system uses a purpose-built structure to securely hold the panels in place.🔒

We start with a solid base, install the mounting system and then position the panels to make the most of the available sunlight. 🙌

It’s a great option for homes with plenty of outdoor space or where the roof just isn’t quite right for solar.

And once they’re in? They work just like any other solar PV system, quietly generating electricity from daylight.♻

Eco Energy Improvements is looking for an Office Administration Assistant to join our team in Dundalk.

If you’re organised, detail-oriented, great with people and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you. 🙌

The role will include supporting our sales team, assisting with SEAI grant paperwork, scheduling site surveys and solar installations, processing orders and providing excellent customer service.

✔️ Full-time, office-based position
✔️ Minimum 2 years’ administration experience
✔️ Strong organisational & communication skills
✔️ Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
✔️ Full product knowledge training provided
✔️ On-site parking
✔️ Join a growing company in the renewable energy industry
