You see the finished signs, the vehicle wraps, the packaging, the festival branding and the print.

What you don't always see are the people behind it.

From design and production to installation, every project is a team effort. Different skills, different roles, all working towards the same goal: delivering quality work for our customers.

It was a pleasure to welcome Jenny Kerr from GOAL to iSupply on Monday for a tour and a great conversation about sustainability, community impact, and the incredible work GOAL continues to do around the world.

While many people know GOAL for their emergency response work, it was really interesting to hear more about the long-term support they provide to help communities build resilience, recover stronger, and create more stable futures.

We’re proud to continue supporting GOAL through our annual Jersey Day and other fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Thanks again to Jenny for taking the time to visit and share more about the important work GOAL is doing.

This World Biodiversity Day🌍, we wanted to highlight the importance of protecting and supporting local biodiversity through small, practical actions that can make a real difference over time.

As part of this, we recently installed swift boxes at iSupply using PVC cut-offs from jobs completed for various clients, giving surplus material a second life while helping create potential nesting spaces for swifts, a species currently on the Red conservation list in Ireland.

According to BirdWatch Ireland, breeding swift populations declined by 69% between 1998 and 2023.

Swifts are migratory birds, travelling to Africa for the winter months before returning to Ireland between May and August to breed. By installing these boxes, we hope to help provide safe nesting spaces and give these birds a better chance while supporting wildlife closer to home.

While our initiatives such as SigNature already support wider environmental and biodiversity projects, we were pleased to take a step that helps support biodiversity closer to home here in Ireland. This is our first action taken to benefit our local biodiversity sphere and hopefully the first of many, while also contributing towards SDG 15, Life on Land, through supporting biodiversity and helping protect endangered species.

A special thank you to Swift Conservation Ireland, for their advice, guidance and support in helping bring this project to life.

📄 Sustainability Tools You Need To Know in 2026, Part 2: Carbon Balanced Paper Calculator.

As a company that began in print, and still produces more than half of our work in this space, understanding the impact of materials is a key part of how we approach sustainability.

This week’s tool is the Carbon Balanced Paper Calculator, developed by CarbonCo in partnership with the World Land Trust.

The free tool helps businesses calculate the emissions linked to paper used in printed materials, providing clear, activity-based data across different paper weights and formats.

It’s extremely easy to use, accepts inputs by weight or sheet count, and is backed by lifecycle research from RISE University. The calculator also connects directly to the Carbon Balanced Paper Initiative, supporting recognised conservation projects through the World Land Trust.

Like many tools of this kind, it uses standard emission factors and does not distinguish between recycled and non-recycled grades. However, it remains a valuable way to better understand the overall impact of print materials and make more informed decisions.

We’ve proudly supported the Carbon Balanced Paper Initiative since 2024, and this tool has helped us better understand and communicate paper-related emissions more clearly.

👉 Want to take it further? SigNature focuses on the impact of signage materials, helping businesses better understand and mitigate those impacts.

The project behind the award 🏆

Recently, we visited the team at c@[urn:li:organization:5086847]d to mark our Sustainability Printer of the Year win at the Irish Print Awards, an award driven by the collaborative work behind these timetable brochures.

Printed on the Nautilus 100% recycled paper range, this project focused on creating a more sustainable print solution without compromising on quality or practicality.

A big part of what made this project stand out was Citylink’s proactive approach to environmentally conscious procurement and their openness to exploring better print options from the beginning.

It’s a strong example of what can be achieved when sustainability is considered as part of the process, not just the final outcome.

A big thank you again to Sarah Comer, Seán Ó Ciardha and the wider Citylink team for the collaboration and trust throughout the project.

Signage that becomes part of everyday life.

From city centre car parks to public information signage, we recently produced and installed a range of updated signs across Galway for Galway City Council.

While these signs are part of everyday city life, clear and durable signage plays an important role in helping people access important information quickly and easily.

From print production to installation, our team manages projects like this from start to finish, delivering reliable signage solutions built to last.
