The crosses below, which represent soldiers who fought in WWl who were from Johnstown, will return home to the village on 23rd January. There will be a mass in St. Kierans Church Johnstown at 7.30pm followed by event in St. Kierans Hall. Johnstown Historical Society are organising the event in conjunction with The Kilkenny Great War Memorial Committee. The Great War Memorial Committee organised the display in KIlkenny castle which was a huge success. It is hoped to erect a permanent memorial to Kilkenny War dead
