Weโ€™re delighted to announce that AES Recycling has been named as a finalist at The Irish CX Impact Awards in the Impact in Utilities category.

The nomination recognises the work of our Customer Service Department, in transforming the customer experience at AES. From improving how we communicate and engage with you our customers, to investing in new processes, people and technology, such as the AES Recycling App, 2026 has been a big year.

Being recognised alongside the best organisations in Ireland is a fantastic achievement and we look forward to the awards ceremony in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry on November 4th.

โ–ช๏ธDouble, single and triple mattresses only will be accepted.

โ–ช๏ธMaximum of 6 mattresses per delivery.

โ–ช๏ธ No other waste or bulky household items will be accepted.

โ–ช๏ธ The event is not open to commercial or charity entities and is restricted to household customers.

โ–ช๏ธDivans, pillows, bed frames, foot stools, couches, armchairs are not accepted.

Ireland has set a target to recycle 60% of municipal waste by 2030, but reducing the amount of waste we produce is just as important.

Please note an upcoming change to the AES recycling collection schedule. Household bin collections falling on Bank Holiday Monday August 3rd will instead take place on Saturday August 1st. Be sure to leave your bins out the night before!

Our good friends at My Waste Ireland have launched the 'Take a Minute Before You Bin It' campaign, encouraging householders and businesses to segregate their waste properly.

Statistics from the EPA reveals that two-thirds of what ends up in our general waste bins could have been recycled or composted with food waste being the most misplaced item, followed closely by soft plastics.

So we ask you to ๐ญ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐š ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž, ๐›๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐›๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ญ.

Please don't put food, paper and plastic packaging in the general waste bin. Whether at home, at work or at play we can all play our part. Simple individual actions, can collectively boost Irelandโ€™s recycling rate.
