So delighted to have had the opportunity to provide EVAWG training for Me, You and Them. Watch the video to find out why!

This evening our team Me You and Them and For You NI Online undertook End violence against Women and Girls training. This essential training strengthens our team’s ability to support women and girls affected by violence with the care, safety, and dignity they deserve. Violence—whether physical, emotional, sexual, or coercive—has deep and lasting impacts.

The training covered how to respond effectively, our team must understand not only the signs and dynamics of abuse but also the trauma that survivors carry with them. We also need to know what other services are out there to support women and girls.

This training ensures that every member of our team can provide safe, informed, and compassionate support. It helps us recognise risk, respond without judgement, maintain confidentiality, and empower survivors to make their own choices.

It also builds our confidence in using appropriate language, creating safe spaces, and connecting women and girls with the right services at the right time.

Ultimately, this training strengthens our entire organisation and community. It ensures that when a woman or girl reaches out—often at one of the most vulnerable moments of her life—we are prepared, skilled, and ready to respond in a way that promotes healing, safety, and hop

Thank you to Diane Thrive & Rise for coming along this evening and providing us with the information.

It was an honour to attend the launch of RISE - Mural with Meaning, yesterday in Enniskillen. Art has a way of starting conversations that matter and this piece truly speaks volumes and will have a huge impact on starting those conversations that really matter in Ending Violence Against Women and Girls.

It challenges, educates, and inspires change, shining a light on the urgent issue of Violence Against Women & Girls, that we all need to play our part in addressing. Really grateful to meet the artist Hannah, who created RISE and very proud to stand alongside her and all involved in creating this beautiful, meaningful mural.

Thank-you to Irvinestown GAA for welcoming me to their club to deliver the Empower to Prevent Programme.
