"If Something has to die let it be our ignorance"
Here follows the most basic foundation of our Catholic/Christian Faith...
Miniscule drop in the ocean overview to follow; like think looking at the moon in sunglasses, you are only going to get the bare minimum of an outline here...
(If it inspires you to seek more? Lift your Bible and then utube Jeff Cavin's the Great adventure, Scott Hahn or Fr Mike Schmitz stay Catholic/Christian in your Bible study)
Biblical ⬇️
Jesus was an Israelite known as a Jew, from the tribe of Judah...
He was born and He lived in the County of Israel in the land of Judah...
His ministry was throughout the land of Israel, where He preached eternal life...
His presence was the fulfilment of God's salvation plan, He was the Israelites long awaited messiah...
God's Kingdom has came to earth in Jesus' Life, Death and Resurrection.
Jesus came to instruct predominantly Jewish/ Israelites, but ultimately His message of salvation is for all of humanity...
He was Crucified by His own people for what He was preaching ie. eternal life through His life giving body and blood, by way of His death and resurrection...
This did not fit the devil's narrative or that of earthly men, especially the already established Jerusalem priesthood with their earthly kingdom and King...
Jesus was crucified, died and was buried in obedience to the Father's will, so as to save our souls... On the third day after His crucifixion Jesus was resurrected ie raised from the dead by God the Father in Jerusalem...
Once Jesus' name and the good news of His saving grace, is taught to all the tribes, nations, and peoples of the Earth, Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom will have no end...
When He returns He will draw all His faithful servants, the living, and the dead, those resting in His peace to Himself...
Jesus is, was, and always will be the peacemaker, He is the Prince of Peace...
John 14, 25-27.
That means to follow Jesus is to be a person of peace even unto death...

Very brief overview of the three major faith groups who believe in the one true God. (monotheism)
Israelites/Jews...
Abraham called by God into a covanent... Genesis chapter 1:1,9 and 11:27 chapter 15: 16: 17 and 21:1,21 and 22:1, 19...
Abraham and his descendents the sons of His sons, are the initial Israelites, twelve tribes of Israel...
Judah is one of those tribes ie where the word Jew/Jewish originates...
The Israelites/Jews are what Jesus called The Root of our Catholic/Christian Faith...
The Jewish people believe in the one true God, they believe in Gods movement of the Holy Spirit in their priesthood and prophets (The first five books of the Old Testament is their Torah and the rest of the Old Testament is called the Tanakh, it is considered sacred scripture to both Jews and Catholic/ Christians)
They are God's chosen people, they are His chosen nation... They walk with God out of exile, God literally goes before them in the desert and guards them day and night... He is the One True God and just like in the desert, (untill Jesus death on Good Friday, in that moment God's presence left the temple and "behold the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom" Matthew 27, 51
Mark 15:38
Luke 23:45) untill that moment God's presence of "Glory" stayed with the Israelites in the temple of Jerusalem...
God's presence dwelt in the Temple "Holy of Holies" the most scared place in all Israel ...
Once a year the High Priest went into the Holy Of Holies to atone for his own sins, and for the sins of his people...
But long story short, the chosen people of God fell way short of the Glory of God... They had became driven by way of their sinful nature and this lead to coldness of heart, they became unfaithful towards God...
God himself said via the prophets "you serve me with your lips, but beware your hearts are growing far from My presence"..
God warned the
Nation via the prophets to change their ways, to repent, to have a change of heart and to come back into His presence...
Still they continue in their sin... God speaks through His prophets in warning of things to come, then He goes silent, most of the nation ignore the warnings and walk further into sin....
God remains faithful He preserves a remnant from the few who remain faithful...
After many warnings about the consequence of their sin, God steps aside, the Israelites as a nation follow other tribes, traditions and sinful practices, this leads them further astray into all kinds of debauchery...
God allows bad Kings, earthly rulers to lead them hoping they will seek Him and turn away from the errors of their way, still they rebel... Instead of repenting and realising it is their earthly nature and godless ways, leading to their destruction, they blame and blasphem those who still walk steadfastly with God...
They outwardly still worship God they keep the feasts and traditions, yet not in their heart they are lukewarm, God sees this as Rebellion...
Without God they soon find they are facing oppression on every side... From being taken captive into exile, to being lorded over by invading powers, alone without God they are outnumbered on every side... God is still faithful in seeking His children to come back to Him, if they come with repentance of heart...
Throughout every ordeal God via His prophets repeats the promise of repentance and restoration... Via the prophets God reveals His plan to give His people a Messiah, a redeemer, a payer of the debt of sin, a way back into communion with Him...
A messiah to free God's people from their own ways of sin...
This sacrifice is like no other because at it's centre is the promise of Eternal Redemption, but this too was misinterpreted by those who were too earthly invested...
When Jesus comes, the Israelites are seeking their messiah but they want Him to be a great earthly King... They want a king to rid them of the current Roman occupation, and they want a strong forceful king, a warrior king, to rid them from the oppression of every other nation of concern...
When Jesus comes preaching peace and an Eternal kingdom of the Father's making; a kingdom of peace yet to come they rejected this kingdom as the one God promised...
The Israelites reject Jesus as their Messiah, because He was not what they expected!!! The kingdom He delivered was not to their liking... The Israelites are awaiting their messiah as an earthly ruler (to this day) who will fight for their Earthly kingdom of Israel...
(In Revelation their messiah to come is our antichrist)
Please note as stated in the scriptures, In the end times, the Israelites/Jews will come back to their homeland of Israel...
Israel would be reborn as a nation and this has come to pass...
The Bible also says the Israelites as a people will come to see Our Lord Jesus Christ as their actual Messiah, and they will accept Jesus as their Lord God and Saviour, the root and the branches will be one...
Christians (gentiles (us) all nations who are not Israelites/Jews, are part of the second calling of God's people...
Christian (Christ - in) all people all nations are called via Jesus' sacrifice into this living union with God...
ie. we are the Branches the Israelites/Jews are the Root...
God wants all His children home, yet we are all sinners here, Jews and gentiles we all fall short of the Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven...
So God set His Son Jesus as the price of our sin...
The entry to Heaven is set via Jesus' Body and Blood Sacrifice, we are saved through our proclamation of faith in this sacrifice, and in His life giving Holy Spirit within us...
Our salvation is not by power or personal strength but by faith and by way of God's Grace within us alone...
We are reconciled with God through Jesus self giving, through Him and Him alone we are saved...
This is how we Catholic/Christians are entered into Gods Abrahamic covanent with the Israelites/Jewish nation (That is Israelites/Jews and all peoples who now believe or will come to believe in "Our Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah Amen" )
Christianity is the "New Testament" and The Old Testament revealed as one unfolding story from Genesis to Revelation...
The New Testament is established by God's will, it is the Story of God's Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, His life, death and His resurrection...
It is also the ongoing story of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon His Apostles, and disciples, and upon all those who truly believe and are called to new life through Jesus' name...
Our faith is not a new faith it is the fulfilment and conclusion of the Old Testament...
People who come to believe in Jesus Christ, have no set nation because Jesus held no earthly domain!!!
Matthew 8,20
Luke 9: 57-62
(even thought he created it all)
Jesus came to save all people for the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven...
John 18: 36, 38
Hence Catholics/Christians are called out into all nations. Jesus sent the twelve Apostles, His Disciples and us Catholic/Christians out into all the earth to tell everyone the good news of Jesus' redeeming Spirit and the Kingdom of Heaven to come...
John14:1-3
Catholics/Christians believe in the same One True God as Jews and Muslims. But we differ greatly, we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Holy Spirit is the living presence of God now alive amongst us His people...
We believe in the One true God in a Triunion aspect, God as Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, equal Divine and One...
Jesus is our redeemer and Messiah, He was sent by God the Father to die on a cross to pay the burden of our debt of sin...
Our sin against God is a debt unpayable by us that rendered us no place in God's Eternal kingdom, for nothing unpure shall enter into heaven (Revelations 21, 27)
Catholic/Christians believe in the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He is the son of God, His Body and Blood are offered up in atonement for our sins... God's body and blood is Life giving, The Holy Spirit is nurtured in us by way of Communion, when we receive Jesus' Body as our Spiritual Food in Holy Communion and when we hold His Word close to our heart...
Union with the Holy Spirit prepares us for the battles of this life and for our Eternal life to come...
Therefore We believe in God the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit who is the Lord the giver of Life...
We believe in the person of Jesus and also the person of the Holy Spirit...
We believe in the life giving aspect of the Holy Spirit... We believe in the Holy Spirits presence alive within us; we live in communion with Him, He moves in us and in our midst...
He is the active living Holy Spirit of God available within every Baptised and Confirmed Catholic/Christian...
We believe in the
forgiveness of sins..
We believe in life everlasting...
(As Catholics we believe in the Seven Sacraments and Hold them as Life giving to all the elements of our being in body, soul and Spirit )
Ps, really reflect upon the creed, Apostles Creed for a simple yet deeper reflection of our fundamental Catholics/Christian faith...
Muslim Islamic faith came third, established roughly 400 years after Christ's coming to earth, by Muhammad... His followers describe him as their prophet of God...
This faith holds the first five books of the Torah/Bible in common with the Jewish and Christian scriptures... The Muslim faith is established in the belief of a mystical book called the Koran transcended from heaven...
This book is not the old testament or the new it is a mishmash of both with a whole lot more in addition... The Muslim faith differs greatly in how they see and serve God....
Muslims have a whole law unto their own understanding in reference to Gods law and practices...
They believe themselves called by God to subdue the world and to rule it via their laws, their faith is a waring brother against all who are not Muslim...
(See ref to Ishmael son of Abram and Hagar 'Sarai maidservant' Gen 16,12)
Muslims also believe in the One true God to them God is One...
Muslims do not believe Jesus is the son of God, Jesus to them is simply a great prophet, who is to return, but he is not God...
To say to ANY Muslim that "Jesus is the son of God" is blasphemy upon their religion and for (extremists) is punishable by penalty even onto death...
The Muslims faith is held in the belief of superiority, they see their faith as the one true faith... They see their mission as a call to bring all nations into submission to God via their set of laws as laid down in their holy book the koran...
So with that as a very simplified overview let us see, what we Catholic/Christian believe in reference to "Jesus' sacrifice and the New Testament revelation of what God expects from us in our active participation"
Its not enough to say I believe. There is more to Christs coming that a proclamation of Faith, there has to be a death...
A death of the self, but that death brings us into a Christ centered life changing reality...
As a disciple of Jesus we are called to die to self ie. we die to self determination...
We become born again in the Spirit of Christ, we willingly become a servant of God most High, we make the decision to have His kingdom come alive (within us)...
We lay down our life in the service of God's kingdom via the outpouring of His Holy Spirit within us...
We follow in Jesus' footsteps...
We live by way of Jesus' life giving body and blood. We seek the Holy Spirit within us, literally and intentionally in our every moment upon Earth, so as to be a part of God's Heaven kingdom...
We serve God staying true to His Word, by way of knowing it, and living His Word of truth in our being, not by following any earthly kingdom, tribe or nation...
Reading the Word of God knawing on it, chewing the bones of it, so as to have it revealed upon our Soul... Subduing and taming the flesh, surrendering into the ways and service of God, via His Holy Spirit alive and active in us brings us closer to God...
Remember in Jesus' day the Jews/Israelites/Hebrews (different names for people of the nation of Israel) they had it good; they did not want to lose the gains of their earthly kingdom, for this eternal heavenly kingdom as propheciesed by Jesus...
The Israelites were doing just fine, all they needed was a waring king to free them from the Roman occupation, and every other waring neighbouring enemie...
They were now a people, a nation, and a kingdom, as promised by God to Abraham their father in faith. They had entered the promise land, yet in so doing they had let sin reign in there midst, then had become infected by sin, by way of entertaining, then entering into personal and collective sin...
They awaited God's messiah of deliverance to deliver them from their waring oppressors of Rome, but they did so with war in their own hearts...
(You can not be the bullet and the plaster)
When Jesus came he was not welding war on the Romans, he was the Messiah, he promised salvation and peace for their soul, yet no freedom from their earthly kingdoms enslavement...
Jesus showed them their heart was not likened unto Gods own heart...
Jesus stated their sin before God, holding their garments of idolatry up before the priesthood, and the people, stating their need of redemption so as to come back into the promises of Gods kingdom...
Jesus was awakening them to the consequences of sin as eternal death, He was offering a different kind of kingdom...
A kingdom not of this earth, thus to receive entry into this new kingdom, required sacrifice!!
The Sacrifice of self...
The nation of Israel comfortable in the flesh awash in earthly pleasure living in a land of plenty, were blind...
They were blind to the poverty of their own heart and state of their eternal soul...
Israel were a nation a country with God in their midst, because God dwelled with them in the temple of Jerusalem...
Israel as a nation had wealth lots of it, but beneath the surface of their sacrifices and rituals and all their Holy feasts and practices, their hearts had grown cold towards God...
They had drifted far away from Gods presence...
God reads the heart of all men but especially that of His chosen people...
God sees the heart and by way of their outward being and inward heart they were living in sin...
The nation was apostate, living in sin, thus now vulnerable to eternal death before God...
They as Catholic/Christians now, thought themselves advanced, sophisticated and safe, the chosen people of God, they thought regardless of their apostasy they would always live in Gods presence and blessing...
Not So...
God seeks more than external ritual, God seeks the heart of His followers in their daily love and service of Him...
The Israelites then as now awaited an earthly messiah, who would wage war against their earthly enemies and the oppressors who surrounded them...
Their focus then as now was upon the earthly domain, of land, kingdom and power... They failed to recognise Their messiah when Jesus came, He was professing a different kind of salvation a different kind of kingdom and they rejected Him...
The son of God was not going to do battle for the land of Israel or for any other county or territory for that matter, His kingdom is the kingdom of Heaven...
Jesus offers eternal salvation for sinful souls, by way of His Sacrificial death...
Jesus did not wage war on any man, instead He wages war on the devil, giving man the saving grace of his Blood Sacrifice and His life giving Holy Spirit thereafter...
Jesus promised eternal salvation, so every man woman and child could be free from the grip of the devil's slavery as bound up in personal and collective sin...
Jesus' purpose was fulfilled in His Cross and
Resurrection...
Jesus opened the way for souls in this world to be freed from the consequences of their sins, and from eternal death by way of His sacrifice...
Jesus accomplished His mission...
Jesus opened the door for those who believe in His name to enter into the eternal salvation of His life giving Spirit...
The Israelites lived amidst the Roman oppression but they were comfortable in the ways of their sin...
They had grown in the ways of foreign influence and their hearts had drifted far away from God, and the truth of His Word in their being...
(How do you boil a frog? Slowly)
So it is with any nation who live in the midst of sin, false gods and their teachings... Slowly they become what they live...
What we accept as normal tarnishes the very soul of our being and it hardens the peoples heart against God...
Living In right order with Gods commandments is telling the truth beyond popular perspective...
It is a stepping away from personal and collective sin so as to draw God's Kingdom into the very midst of ones being...
The nation of Israel had became a people of double standards, (Akin to us today) by way of their slavery to the world, the flesh and the devil, they became worldly...
During the occupation by Rome, they could still practice their faith, but they no longer lived with God's law in their hearts...
They walked in the ways of sin thinking they served God by ways of their ritual and religious practices, yet via the prophets, God continued to warn them of the folly of their ways...
God knew they were walking into the territory of Godless self destruction...
God warns "if the people repent and turn back to Me, i will have mercy and save them" but it fell on deaf ears...
The prophets call out time and again "repent we have fallen into destruction, we will be cast out of God's presence, out to the four corners of the earth" still it fell on deaf ears...
But history reveals God's truth...
70 years after Jesus' coming Israel is laid to waste, because they did not repent or receive Jesus as their messiah...
There is a lesson in that for every Catholics/Christians reading...
If you can lift the Bible and read the first couple of chapters of Revelation, you will see what Jesus says to the established churches!!! they are us, we are them...
If that does not make you shudder you are already spiritually dead...
Jerusalem is burned to the ground just as Jesus said it would be, and in Matthew and Revelation Jesus has said the same end will Come to all the Earth...
In a time set by God a time only God's knows, all the earth will pass away...
Jesus says stay awake, read the signs of the times... Jesus also said God will pour out His Holy Spirit upon all flesh permitting all to know the times they are living in...
Jesus says we should fear nothing of this destination, or his returning to Earth, we should infact await Him with gladness, the destruction of the Nations and wickedness of man in Armageddon is also the coming of His Kingdom; so those of His Kingdom should rejoice and be glad for the kingdom of God is at hand...
We who are already established in Jesus, born into His eternal Kingdom, born in His Spirit, walking steadfastly in the ways of His teaching, we will await our messiah with shouts of joy.. .
The Holy Spirit has infused into our consciousness, the flesh is of little consequence in comparison to the death of our eternal Soul and the loss of His life giving Spirit...
(Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, everything He says is true and everything Jesus says will happen, will 100% happen!!! be it in past present or future context Jesus' Word is True, His Truth is already Spoken, He is the Word made flesh, He is the WORD of God...
"O my Jesus you have said it and your Word is True you are the Saviour of the World" Have Mercy on me a sinner...
Jesus tells the Israelites what is to come, the plight of their nation, the displacement and persecution of their people, because of their state of heart and apostasy towards God...
Jesus give the people the good news of His sacrifice for their sin, and they rejected Him...
Jesus gave them (and us) a way to enter into eternal life...
John 6.53,58
So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living father sent me, and I live because of the father, so he who eats me will live because of me. This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever. "
Jesus made it clear the way of His body and blood, is the only way for any soul to enter the covanent of God's eternal salvation...
Jesus shows us time and again "God is faithful to His covenantial Word" faithful when he had his prophets prophesied saying "Israel will be uprooted and then restored"
Even though the people had turned their back on God, got side tracked, and lost in the world of self satisfaction merriment and plenty; God remains faithful to His prophesied Word...
Israel is now restored it is once more a nation, just as it was biblically written, and as it is written they shall one day receive Jesus as the saviour of their souls...
God faithfully shows He seeks those who remain steadfast to His Word and precepts (Israelis Jews Muslims Gentiles Catholic Christians) in every era God places His law in the heart of those who love Him, in those who seek Him, in those who serve Him...
So what about us Catholic Christians?
Gods plan of salvation reaches beyond the land of Israel, we receive the promise of Christ in the proclamation of the New Testament...
That is in our saviour
Jesus Christ who died to pay the debt of our sin...
When we read the bible we are the gentiles (everyone outside the Israeli nation Jewish tradition, who were not living in the land of Israel were known as the gentiles)
We were grafted into Gods chosen people by way of the New Testament in the proclamation of Jesus Christ as our Lord God and Saviour...
In the New Testament we became know as the Christians because we believe in Christ...
Every nation will be given time to come into the revelation of Gods kingdom via Jesus' sacrifice and life giving Holy Spirit...
Each called in our heart, called in our soul, called in our willingness to ask, seek and to find Jesus...
God has placed Jesus a Jew from Israel in the very midst of all peoples that we might come into His Sacrifice of Salvation...
The keys of the kingdom of God are held in Jesus' Hand and in His Hand Alone...
I am going to intersect who Jesus is referring to in this next parable, for clarity it might help to read it aloud....
Romans 11, 17,23
But if some of the branches were broken off (ref Israelites who denied Jesus as the messiah) and you (gentiles Catholic/Christian, all who accept Jesus as their Lord God and saviour) a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree (Jesus salvation Gods kingdom) do not boast over the branches. If you do boast, remember it is not you that supports the root, but the root that supports you. You will say, "Branches (Israel) were broken off so that I (Catholic/Christian) might be grafted in". That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast only through faith. So do not become proud, but stand in awe. For if God did not spare the natural branch,(Israelites) neither will He spare you(Catholic/Christians all believers in Christ).
Note then the kindness and severity of God: severity towards those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in His kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off. And even the others, if they do not persist in their unbelief, (Israelites/nations/unbelievers in Jesus as messiah) will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them(Israelites all nations all men) in again. For if you have been cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree,(Gods kingdom) how much more will these natural branches(Israelites) be grafted back into their own olive tree...
Jesus seeks us to grasp this truth in our being so as to live His kingdom in our being and soul...
Jesus is peace so His kingdom is not gained by way of our own strength, knowledge or power, but by way of His Holy Spirit fully awake and Alive in us...
The Bible says this also that when the time is right God will give the Jewish people the Israelites, the truth of Jesus' person as the messiah of their soul...
Today Jews, Gentiles Christian and Muslim all peoples upon the face of the earth are as one in these questions, and the choice they make in their flesh and soul...
"Who is Christ in my soul?
Is He the Son of God? and
Do i serve Him?"...
Every living soul is called to seek Gods truth in the outpouring of His Holy Spirit...
God's revelation is biblically clear by way of the times we now find ourselves living in...
We no longer live in a Christian society with Christian values, at best we live amongst the apostate, lukewarm or tepid...
Still The remnant of God once infused by way of the light of the Holy Spirit shall become His messengers of biblical truth...
They shall be called forth to ignite the spark of the divine light, awakening in hungry souls Christ and His life giving Spirit of salvation...
God calls to Himself a faithful people, a remnant, who read His Word, and harken to His voice, seeking to walk steadfast in the ways of His unfolding plan of redemption...
(ie. a remnant is a small faithful portion of the whole, who continue in times of trial and persecution to love serve and honour God, in the Spirit of their living; by way of Gods Word and Holy Spirit alive and moving in their being)
Todays unfolding pattern of repeat from the old testament is palpable, yet it differs greatly, the stakes are higher for us new Testament Catholic/Christians for we each have the life giving anointing of the Holy Spirit within us...
It is a choice to silence Gods Spirit within, so as to be comfortable living in a state of silence, debauchery and sin...
Once we get caught up in the world, the flesh and the devil it becomes hard to speak truth, especially if one is not prepared to take the persecution of the devil's minions...
The human narrative with all its nonsensical illusion needs to be laid bare so the soul can find its meaning...
I guess salvation starts by being internally honest...
Do i honour Gods commandments and
Do i following His ways?
Do i repent of my sins?
Do i seek salvation in the body and blood of Christ, am I receiving Holy Communion by way of my loving heart ?
Do I know God?
Do I love God?
Do I serve God?
Do I teach Jesus to my children and to my children's children?
It's the same old same old of Original sin it's the devil's whisper in us, when we say to God "I will not serve". Or "I will not listen"
But we need to sharpen up lest we all perish for the want of direction, we need to seek God and lean not on our own understanding...
To be a Christian is to make a choice to literally receive Christ-In or to be In-Christ...
Christianity is not a passive set of devotions it is a life giving Spirit, because He lives in those who give Him reign in which to govern...
The choice and destination of the eternal soul if fixed within the lifespan of the flesh; from one heartbeat then breathe, to 120 years, we must measure the difference in our souls lifespan in this life versus Eternity...
Jesus died to bring us life, His blood was shed for our sins, still we have to accept the exchange of our contaminated (by sin) blood for His sinless life-giving clean and unstained sacrificial Blood...
Once this is grasped then we make our own personal covanent, (ie consecration of the self) to God, in the giving of ourself to God, clothed in the garment of Jesus Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity...
We offer God our life held up in Jesus sacrifice seeking his kingdom to come fully Alive in us...
We literally unite our soul with "The body blood soul and divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ" and let His Holy Spirit reign in us...
We make an exchange "our sinful spirit seeking the reality of His Eternal life-giving Holy Spirit indwelling within us...
Matthew 9,17
Mark 2.22
Luke 5.37
New wine new wine skins...
Out with the old in with the new...
The covanent is set we die to self will, others earthly will and all forms of demonic earthly kingship...
We set our heart upon God's Eternal kingdom and we seek with all our heart to be in union with Him in the service of His kingdom...
When God gives us the grace to see our fallen nature of personal sin, then the discernment of spirits, begins. This discernment begins within our own personal nature of sinful being, ie. we seek an illumination of conscience, we strive to get right with God...
When sin is recognised as sin ie earthly self determination, pleasure, comfort, wealth, status etc endless list of an earthly spirits making...
(remember antichrist is anything we personally and collectively place before God, whatever we personally worship day and daily as our god; is the spirit of antichrist)
We cry out to God in the realization of, our past and present choices of sin could very well gain us hell for all Eternity, for it is written in
Revelation 2,27
"nothing unclean will enter heaven"...
We can not serve two masters Matthew 6.24
You can not serve two masters, you will hate the one and love the other, "a man can not serve God and money"
In this realization, think near death experience, the person comes back and begins living a meaningful life, a life in the service of God and in the proclamation of His presence and reality as real...
Utube Marino Restrepo testimony or go see him when he comes here to give a talk...
Marino will wake you up to the reality of hell and the consequences of sin, and exactly what it means to be a whole new Creaton in Christ...
This is what Jesus is saying in Matthew 6.33
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...
(read scripture for more context )
Striving in and seeking the Holy Spirit in all earnest has to become our daily bread... The life of our soul is more important than the life of our flesh...
Loving God unto death like Jesus did, as the Apostles did in their martyrdome, is no longer outside the realms of our own earthly possibility... The world is changing so something in us has to change also, soon we will be crying out to the Holy Spirit so as to navigate our and our family's earthly as well as eternal salvation...
The service of God is only achieved in our flesh via the Holy Spirits indwelling...
The eye is the window of the soul, so what are our eye fixed upon? In the persuit of pleasure of things of the earth or upon God, the scriptures, and the things of heaven?
Everyday can be filled in seemingly righteous acts, but if they are not offered up in the alignment of Gods will within us, they could be serving something else ie. a lower case god of our own egos making...
We would do well to learn this lesson from the old testament,
"God is faithful His people are flawed, without Him we are children adrift in a sea of senseless pleasure" ...
Jesus teaches a different reality of happiness; when He says things like paraphrasing here
"happy are those who place their trust in the Lord, who lean not on their own understanding, who set their course upon the ways of the kingdom of Heaven; who seek God's aid in the salvation of their own soul and in the salvation of that of their neighbour"...
When God draws us to this realization of "the breath of life within us is there to serve Him! To serve Him in the proclamation of His Kingdom and in Jesus' life giving sacrifice of redemption and forgiveness" we need to really grasp this as the very meaning of our life...
Quoting Marino Restrepo here "we as Catholic Christians are ment to be barers of the light"...
We also need to register no good works, no amount of prayer gains us entry into heaven untill the atonement of our sins is gained via the offering up of Jesus Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity to God the Father in atonement for our sins...
Heaven is opened by way of Jesus Body and
Blood Sacrifice, so to be a part of that covanent is to enter into the covanent...
We are also faithfully obliged to pray for the souls of the faithfully departed, who need to be held in a conscious confession, a Holy Mass and a share in our Holy Communion; within our conscious intercession and dedication for the repose of their soul...
This might all seem hard to grasp I would beseech reading it untill it clicks. Lift your bible make the links. Read the Word of God seeking the renewal of your mind...
Ask God,
Seek God and you will Find God...
The Bible is clear, Jesus is the door, He has laid it all out in the Gospels, how to come into Communion and Friendship with His Holy Spirit; "take up thy cross and come follow me" this is how we die to ourself and become united to Gods Holy Spirit within...
Scriptures to inform...
John 10.9
"I am the door"
John 3. 3
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God...
John 5
Truly,Truly, I say to you. Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born anew. The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit...

Be assured It's a choice its a choosing of sides, its seeing the earth and all those lost in it, as part of the shadow lands of the devil's domain (temporary paradise) and its aligning with the heavenly Kingdom of God within our soul and nature of being in a truly Christ centred way...
Seeking God in our soul and awakening those we love ie our family, our friends, our neighbour, our community, once we are obediently surrendered, commited and empowered by way of Gods Holy Spirit within us, it is to live a life of meaning in the service of God...
This is a battle against our own earthly will and pull of the flesh, so as to come into the service of God and His kingdom in the salvation of our own and everyone elses soul...
It is a literal stepping outside the realm of the flesh seeking the eyes of the Spirit, from the seen into the unseen mystical relm of God...
As seen in the miraculous outpouring of Jesus Holy Spirit whilst He was here upon this earth, when He cast out demons, healed the sick and raised the dead, Jesus was walking in 100% obedience to God's will alive in His Spirit...
