USP Exercise: Unique Selling Proposition for your business/venture
Have you ever struggled with identifying the unique selling proposition (USP) for your business? It can be challenging to determine what makes your business unique by simply looking at it. However, Sean D’Souza’s book “The Brain Audit” offers a solution. Instead of focusing on the past, focus on the future and what you want to create for your clients. This then becomes your USP.
For example, what I want to do at Brett PR & Web is help customers have good relationships with their market. This means building real relationships based on shared values, not just focusing on metrics of sales or marketing tactics. The reason for this is that relationships drive us as people and make life more interesting. By fostering relationships through business, we can have more interesting lives.
So, what’s your USP for your business? Or, to put it in the context of the exercise- what do you want to create for your clients / Market?
Can I help you develop it? Let me know if you’re stuck. 😊
P.S. I also found it very interesting to ask the question - 'Why' after I landed on my first round of 'wanting to create relationships for my clients'. My answer, as stated, was so that as people we can have more 'interesting lives' all round.
You might find it interesting to ask "What's the why behind what you want to create?" You might be enlightened a bit by it.
