Remember the magic of Love Is A Stranger this time last year? ⚡️

Well, the crew is heading back to the stunning surrounds of for another weekend of music, good people and gentle mischief from May 15–17.

They’re making a final push on tickets and it’d be lovely to see a full house this year.

Restored barns, lakeside sessions, sauna, proper food and one of the warmest festival crowds going.

Really looking forward to seeing , , Steve O’Connor, Cian Ó Cíobháin, P Disconaut and the crew from the Baltimore Fiddle Fair.

Plus pints from@thewhitehag , coffee from and food from@shellscafe. What more could you want?

If you’ve been thinking about it, this is your nudge ✨

We've been quietly excited about this one for a while. 🌊

The Pure Cork campaign is live today, and it's Cork as you've never quite seen it before. Rugged coastlines, rolling heartlands, vibrant city streets, and flavours worth travelling for. This is Cork as the locals know it.

It has been such a pleasure to work alongside the brilliant teams at & to bring these stories to life. Cork is a county that gets under your skin, and we hope this campaign does the same. Hat tip, as always, to Oliver .ie .ie for bringing the vision to life.

Head to the link in bio to plan your next escape, whether you're chasing coastal adventures or the best of foodie Cork. 🍽️

Don't just visit Cork. Experience it. ✨

Yesterday the Sligo tourism industry came out in force for the Destination Sligo Forum annual networking event. 💫

Huge credit to Fáilte Ireland's Luke Murray & 's Aidan McCormack for making it such a standout occasion.

Adventure & Wellness is one of the core pillars of Sligo's tourism offering, so I was delighted to host a panel discussion on how Sligo can grow its offering, featuring Patricia Doe of , Alison Moffatt of , and the indomitable Brendan Kenny of .iaat Ireland's Association for Adventure Tourism.

Key themes: the need for more cohesive messaging around Sligo's offering as a whole, and the opportunity for integrated adventure and wellness packages with accommodation.

But the highlight of the day was the keynote from Sligo native Catherine Toolan. I screenshot every slide. Her journey from rural Sligo to CEO of the Guinness Storehouse was extraordinary, and her insights were sharper still. Did you know 1 in every 4 visitors to Ireland visits the Storehouse?

Catherine laid down a gauntlet to the Sligo tourism industry: deliver a more cohesive brand story. She's right. We have so much to offer, but Sligo remains relatively unknown in most domestic and international markets. The opportunity is there. Now it's on us to take it.

Watch this space.

Is the Irish language having a 'Ré Órga' moment? Certainly Irish language advertising is changing people's perceptions of the language, and perceptions of the organisations and brands using Irish in their communications.

Bua has teamed up with Amárach Research to deliver a new, powerful research tool, Súil Feasa, to evaluate the impact of Irish-language advertising.

That's why Amárach Research has launched Súil Feasa, a new research and advisory service measuring the real impact of advertising through Irish.
Alongside Amárach's research, I worked on interpreting the findings, drawing on years of professional experience working through Irish with public bodies and brands.
The key insight is clear: comprehension, not motivation, is the main barrier. When people understand the Irish being used, performance gaps with English advertising narrow sharply.
Súil Feasa helps organisations decide when to prioritise accessibility and when to speak directly to fluent audiences, backed by evidence, not assumption.

Get ready for some cuteness overload. 💫

Throwback to this gorgeous edit from our campaign back in 2019.

It was a real homegrown effort – local Strandhill collaborators Allan Mulrooney & Denise Rushe supporting on the creative, Peter Clyne behind the lens, and his adorable nephew Michael stealing the show in the starring role.

The voice you hear? Aoife’s son Oisín – six years on, he sounds very different now. ❤️

Quiet Moments, Bold Flavours ☀️🥃

Last week, we were delighted to help host an intimate event at Hawk’s Rock Distillery for some special guests.

The setting spoke for itself — but special thanks to for the beautiful styling, and for the delicious for the beautiful styling, and for the beautiful bites that made the afternoon feel extra special.

Captured perfectly, as always, by Conor Doherty.

Small moments, well made. That’s what we love to be part of.

School holidays… what to do in Sligo? 🏖️

Whether you’re hosting visitors, planning a staycation, or just looking for something new to do close to home — Sligo’s new Ideas Engine has you sorted.

Launched by the tourism team at Sligo County Council, it’s Ireland’s first AI-powered itinerary planner. Just pop in your dates and interests — surf trip 🏄‍♀️, family adventure, food trail, festival weekend — and it builds a tailored plan in seconds.

You can send it straight to WhatsApp, email, or download it as a PDF to share with friends or family. It’s simple, smart, and free. ✅

As Aoife is co-chair of the Destination Sligo Forum, we are delighted to see this go live — especially now, when both visitors and locals are looking for inspiration.

We’re sharing it alongside a video we made in 2019 with Islander Visual — still a favourite of ours. It captured Sligo’s essence then and is still relevant now we hope.

Try the Ideas Engine now at www.sligo.ie or hit the link in bio 👆🏻

Still buzzing from this week's press trip at Hawk’s Rock Distillery — a day full of great people, stories, and spirit (in every sense).

Big shout out to who brought the river to life — pure magic on the Garavogue.

Still buzzing from the launch of Garavogue this week – and proud beyond words to see it already making waves in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and beyond.

Sharing some photos from our April press trip – a special few days spent bringing Sligo’s story to life with a brilliant group.

Big thanks to the Sazerac crew – Christi, William, Helen, Ollie and the full HRD team – for the trust and collaboration. And to the incredible local partners who made it shine: , , .ward_coneyislandpub , , and so many more.

Magic happens when craft meets place – and we’re just getting started. 🥃

Love is a Stranger ✨

Sunshine. Sounds. Small moments. Big laughs.
A spell cast in the fields around .

Huge love to Emmet, Sam and the whole crew for curating something so quietly powerful — a gathering that reconnects you to people, place, and a bit of magic. One we’ll be talking about for a long time.

A special nod to Christopher and Dorothy at Juniper — for the beauty they’ve built, and the grace, courage, and care with which they host.

Didn’t realise how much I needed it until I was in it.
Still holding it close.
