Project Completion!! 📣🌞

Laltec Electrical & PV Solar Contractors recently completed a 90KW solar system at Caseys Circle K in Roscommon town⛽️. There was an existing 51kw solar array already on site and we were tasked with integrating the existing system with the new system so that the client could monitor total solar production and the overall import and export of power to and from site on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

The following works were completed to deliver on the clients’ needs.

• We replaced the existing inverters on site with new Solplanet inverters. Solplanet inverters were also installed on the new installation. This enables the client to monitor solar production on both the new and existing system on site.

• We installed 2 x G10 relays on site. This is an ESB requirement for a system generator over 50KW. This was witnessed tested and approved by the ESB.

• In total we installed 180, 500w All black panels on new storage units on the site. Combined with 158 existing solar panels which were already on site this means there are now 338 solar panels on site producing clean renewable energy.

• We installed a Solarfox monitor in the main building so that Casey’s customers can monitor and visualise real-time solar data information.

There is now a 141KW solar system on site.

The client availed of a business SEAI grant towards the cost of installation.

🌞This is another local job which we completed recently. It’s actually two separate solar PV installations on two houses owned by the same family which are located side by side. 🏠🏠

We installed a 12 panel system on one house and a 10 panel system on the other. We installed a hybrid inverter in both houses. This future-proofs the system in the event that the customer decides to install a battery at a later date – e.g., if they decide to purchase an electric vehicle.
