Westport Chamber’s "Dare to Include" Autumn Business Summit in partnership with the Disability Federation of Ireland.
Building on Westport Chamber’s Spring Business Summit - 'Win Back BIG', the Autumn Summit will invite the business community to consider how we work together to make Westport an inclusive and welcoming community for everybody. The goal is to become ‘Destination Inclusive Westport’. Key themes are Workplace Challenges, Inclusive Hospitality & the Built Environment.
Where: Westport Town Hall and live streamed over Zoom.

‘Dare to Include’ is a collaborative event between Westport Chamber of Commerce and Community and Disability services in the county including the Disability Federation of Ireland, Rehab/National Learning Network, Employability Mayo, Irish Wheelchair Association, Mayo North East & South West Mayo Development Companies
In a restricted event (due to Covid Precautions) Councillor Brendan Mulroy, Cathaoirleach, Westport Belmullet MD will launch three “Pathways to Employment” projects in the county which have recently been awarded funding under the DSP/Pobal Dormant Accounts Fund:
1. DFI’s Enabling Organisations to Provide Employment
2. IWA Ability Programme
3. Rehab/National Learning Network, MSLETB, Westport Chamber, Destination Westport & Irish Hotel Federation (Mayo) - Hospitality Inc. inclusive hospitality training academy
The Rehab group has provided ‘Inclusive Recruitment and Retention’ on-line training to the executive of Westport Chamber of Commerce.
