בשעה טובה נחתם הסכם בין משרד התחבורה לאיחוד הארופאי בנוגע לכניסתה של ישראל
ליורוקונטרול.

מצורפים:

1. הודעת משרד התחבורה: ״לאחר שנתיים של דיונים: ישראל והאיחוד האירופי ("יורוקונטרול") חתמו ביום חמיש האחרון על הסכם אסטרטגי שיצמצם באופן משמעותי את העיכובים בטיסות לישראל וממנה.

עם חתימת ההסכם תצטרף ישראל למועדון היוקרתי של 41 מדינות אירופאיות החברות בארגון ה"יורוקונטרול" ונהנות ממגוון של שירותי תעופה חדשים שמציע הארגון. השר כץ: ההסכם יאפשר לישראל קשר ישיר למרכז הבקרה המנהל את השמים של אירופה. בעקבות זאת יצומצמו באופן משמעותי ההמתנות והעיכובים הרבים בטיסות מישראל לאירופה ואליה.״

The Agreement will bring improved crisis management, more organised and harmonised management of the traffic flows between Israel and Europe, improved predictability in planning of daily operations and improved safety of operations.
