🚀 מחר אנו יוצאים לדרך עם קורס רפואת חלל בטכניון הטכניון - מכון טכנולוגי לישראל | Technion!

בשיתוף עם הפקולטה לרפואה ע״ש רות וברוך רפפורט הפקולטה לרפואה ע"ש רות וברוך רפפורט בטכניון ,האגודה הישראלית לרפואה אווירית וחלל (IAsMA) פותחת סמסטר חדש עם קורס בחירה ברפואת חלל.

הקורס יעסוק בהשפעות של שינויי כבידה על גוף האדם - מהעצמות, השרירים והלב ועד למוח ולהיבטים הפסיכולוגיים של בידוד בחלל - ובמה שניתן ללמוד מכך על הרפואה גם כאן, בכדור הארץ.

רפואת החלל היא תחום רב־תחומי מטבעו. לאורך הקורס יפגשו הסטודנטים רופאים, מדענים ונציגים מתעשיית החלל, ואף יבקרו בחברת ביוטכנולוגיה בתחום החלל.

את הקורס תפתח מחר ד״ר סאמר סופר Summer Sofer , מייסדת ומנכ״לית Israel Aerospace Medical Association , בהרצאה בנושא:
*״מבוא לרפואת חלל: למה חלל?״*

כאגודה צעירה, אחת המטרות שלנו היא לקדם את תחום הרפואה האווירית והחלל בישראל ולהביא אותו לרמה המקובלת בעולם.
מבחינתנו, הדרך לשם מתחילה בחינוך ובהכשרת הדור הבא.

A great evening of discussion on Spaceflight-Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome (SANS). 👁️🚀

We were proud to take part in the 2nd Annual Emergency Medicine Boot Camp at המרכז הרפואי האוניברסיטאי הדסה , working directly with the department's emergency medicine residents.

What Ahmad Nama and his team are building here is rare. A program that trains its residents to think, not just to memorize. That is exactly where the Israel Aerospace Medical Association comes in. We brought the residents a new way to look at medicine, one that questions what we take for granted and reframes the field through the lens of the human body at its limits. Then we put it straight into their hands, with critical thinking simulations built to make them solve, not spectate.

This is exactly the vision our CEO, Dr. Summer Sofer, pushes IAsMA to bring: broadening how people see medicine, and showing them how much there is to gain and learn from this field.

A big thank you to Aliza Goldman for reaching out and thinking of us, and to Dr. Ahmad Nama and the whole team for having us. This is the start of something we are excited to keep building.
