"Hold on tight, and let go lightly."
4 words – a whole world!Inhale – exhale. While inhaling, I am holding, my diaphragm contracts. While exhaling, I let go lightly, my diaphragm relaxes.
This is a rule of life to live by. In fact, we will find the laws of the universe repeating themselves in all kinds of reminders placed there for us. We just forget to observe.
We usually live life with a strong desire to inhale and a reluctance to exhale.
Did you know that a baby goes through a psychological-biological stage where they are genuinely terrified when their p**p separates from them and disappears into the toilet? To them, an organ was taken away.
This is an example of how strong and ancient the desire of every living being is to hold on tight, but not let go lightly.
This isn't a call to exercize indifference toward life or to stop participating in it just in the name of "letting go lightly," because then we would have misunderstood the essence yet again and gotten a mirror image of the desperate clinger.
Inhale – exhale – life.
Are you able to look at your entire life as an inhale – exhale?
