Your professional and personal success depends on your ability to communicate effectively. More so in the case of the construction industry where you have to communicate with skilled and unskilled people.

Recently, I delivered a training on “Impactful Communication” for the employees of a leading infrastructure company in South India. Through interactive exercises, role plays, and real-world scenarios, I helped participants build confidence and clarity in their communication. The participant's engagement and willingness to learn made my session so impactful. It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated group.

Respect, Not Friendship, is all that you want in your negotiations...
Negotiation is about achieving goals, not forming personal bonds.

While relationships can help build rapport, respect is the cornerstone that drives successful outcomes. When respect is established, parties are more likely to focus on the issues at hand, rather than being swayed by interpersonal dynamics. This allows for clearer, more objective decision-making, and better long-term outcomes.

Building respect during negotiations creates a foundation for future interactions, ensuring both sides can continue to work together even if they aren’t personally close.

Signing a contract doesn’t make your negotiation a Win-Win.

Although you have reached an agreement, the outcome is more tilted in favor of one party than the other. This is often to do with perceived value which may be seen quite differently in the eyes of either party. One party might concede something that they consider low value but is of high value to the other side, making the exchange appear fair but actually favoring one party.

Skilled negotiators can create the illusion of a win-win while subtly positioning the terms to favor their side.

Nurture your skills to become a hardcore negotiator and make the deal really a WIN-WIN not a WIN-win.

Moving from seeking employment to creating job opportunities as an entrepreneur or employer involves a change in perspective, honing of skills, and strategic planning. It is always fulfilling for me to assist and mentor young individuals pursuing entrepreneurship.

Recently, I had the privilege of addressing aspiring entrepreneurs at V R Siddhartha Engineering College Vijayawada alongside BYST Vijayawada on Entrepreneurship Day, August 21st. It was truly inspiring to engage with numerous imaginative minds during this event.

I recently conducted CRM training for the managers of an Automotive Manufacturing company in Pune. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the participants for their active participation and dedication during our training session. Recently completed Customer Experience (CX) training for over 300 ground staff employees of a Tech Park in Bangalore. I couldn't believe the love and admiration they have showered on me during my sessions. It was indeed great pleasure and privilege to be able to touch their lives in the smallest ways if even for a moment.
