🌿 KIDS, DIRT, AND THE WONDERS OF NATURE: WE ARE HIRING! 🌿
Are you passionate about teaching, love being outdoors, and want to help children connect with food and nature?
We are looking for a School Gardening Facilitator for a premium school in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, for an upcoming 10-month engagement.
This isn't your conventional desk job or a rigid corporate career. It is a genuine "labor of love" designed for people who want to step out of the traditional classroom and teach children how the world works through the magic of soil, seeds, and ecosystems.
🌻 What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be leading fun, curriculum-driven gardening classes for children aged 6 to 13. You’ll spend more than half of your time outdoors in a vibrant terrace and kitchen garden, helping kids grow everything from leafy greens and root crops to herbs and climbers.
Through hands-on planting, you will teach them about:
Biodiversity and agroecology
Ecosystems and environmental science
Climate action, sustainability, and food security
🗓️ The Details:
Tenure: 10-month engagement (You may choose to stay too)
Schedule: 5 days a week | 8:40 AM to 3:00 PM
Stipend: ₹24,000 to ₹30,000 per month
Perks: Teaching experience certificate, professional referrals, and deep mentorship from pioneers in organic farming to help you become a master gardener.
👤 Who Should Apply?
We care much more about your passion, energy, and love for nature than a fancy degree. We warmly welcome:
Retired teachers looking for a meaningful, active way to stay connected to education.
Freshers looking for an unconventional, rewarding entry into teaching.
Passionate individuals with basic gardening knowledge and experience interacting with kids.
Requirements: Must be able to commute daily to Jayanagar (8:40 AM start) and have good conversational skills in English.
✨ How to Apply:
If you’re ready to trade a traditional workspace for a vibrant garden, we’d love to hear from you!
