We aim to inspire and mentor women professionals for reaching career heights as entrepreneurs, corporate leaders or excellence & growth in any field of work. Most women compromise on an average professional growth, struggling between home and career management. However, there are few, with an exceptional courage & grit, who surpass all difficulties and rise to the top. We plan to invite such d ist
inguished women speakers t o share inspirational stories of their own journey. Stories of determination and passion, of succeeding in IIT and further in their fields of profession shall be shared by exceptional women of IIT Kanpur. This session shall encourage young women who lookup to IITians as their role model. At present, there are few Businesses and individuals who are taking concrete, excellent steps towards women empowerment. We shall celebrate the work of such ‘Enablers’.
'Interactive Sessions' with the leaders shall provide mentorship opportunity on topics of 'Entrepreneurship', 'Leadership' and 'making it BIG in a field of career' etc. We are planning ‘Stalls’ where women can showcase s ome outstanding work or a business venture in the making. Recruitment of women leaders can also be initiated. A ‘Hackathon’ for app development is planned too, to encourage participation of younger generation of women. Each team must have at least 1 woman. The judges are seasoned Entrepreneurs and Investors, who shall provide guidance to teams during their discussion.
