Are ‘C Men’ the answer to Lone Wolf Attacks?

In Sep 2016, after the wave of terror attacks in continental Europe, Scotland Yard brought in the first of 600 especially armed CT officers, who shall patrol the urban areas in vans, boats, and motor-bikes, ready to neutralize a terror threat.
The visible presence of C-Men, itself shall be a deterrence. There are merit in having armed and mobile CT resources, in the vicinity of potential targets. However, it may be preferable to maintain an incognito rather than overt presence. C -Men are a reactive response; their overt deployment itself could become a target for a terrorist threat if C- Men are not deployed

Energy Storage- The Game Changer

HIGH-CARBON FOOTPRINT SUPER THERMAL POWER PLANTS, LIKE THE 3340MW CHANDRAPUR COAL-BASED SUPER POWER PLANT MAY SOON BECOME OBSOLETE.

Over the last century, we have sought economic methods to store energy for use on demand. US Energy Department is funding 75 projects for developing electric power storage, in Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and the Lawrence Livermore & Oak Ridge Labs. Some projects such as Hydrogen Bromide, Zinc-air, Organic Flow batteries, storage in molten glass, next-gen Flywheels – all aimed at bringing down storage cost, to less than US$ 100 per KWh from the current US $350 per KWh.

AFGHANISTAN; TWIN SU***DE BOMBS
On 5th September 2016, the officials of Defense Ministry were attacked by twin su***de bombers in Afghanistan. Thirty-five people were killed including an Army General and two senior Police officers. The twin bombings were timed in order to target the security personnel and civilians, who rushed to help the victims of the 1st blast, were caught in the 2nd blast.
Will the West continue to support the beleaguered Govt. of President Ashraf Ghani?
After President Obama revised the withdrawal plans of US forces, NATO members have also pledged continued support. Foreign donors are expected to initiate continued financial support to Afghanistan, despite Taliban’s provocation.

Why copper prices could turn around?
Copper was popular collateral in the Chinese banking system up until 2011-2012. During this time there were high imports into China not necessarily by end users. With the increase in shadow-banking in China the requirement of copper for the financing activity came down drastically. This could be attributed to the fall in the prices from early 2014 to the beginning of 2016. Currently the imports are by end users showing stockpile that were in China may have run down. Hence, we can predict that there could be a rise in the prices of copper in the near future.
