Daughter and disciple of Padmabushan awardee & Sangeetha Kalanidhi Trichur Ramachandran and Kalaimamani Charumathi the renowned couple who are the torch bearers of the GNB and MLV style.
As the niece of famous dancer Kalaimamani Lakshmi Viswanathan Shubasri grew up in a musical environment and imbibed the best of the musical form from her parents in the old " Gurukula Vasam" model of learning from the tender age of four.
Have learnt under the legendary Sangita Kalanidhi Smt.D.K.Pattammal and Hindustani Classical from Mrs. Meera Sawoor(Agra Gharana).
Have trained many students in india ,US and many parts of the world. I have been been teaching and performing from age 14.
She has sung in the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London for the Queens jubilee celebration
Have given concerts and vocal support vocal support in Australia, USA,London and various parts of the world.
she has sung at the theater de laville Paris as part of Thyagarajas Nauka Charitram
Categorized as a graded artiste of All India Radio and TV. She has sung for Sun TV, Star-plus TV, Doordarshan and Bharathi TV to name a few.
