This , indePenn salutes a true titan of Indian industry and a visionary who plowed a path for millions of women in the heavy machinery sector: Mallika Srinivasan. Known affectionately as the "Tractor Queen of India," she joined TAFE in 1986 when its turnover was modest and, through sheer strategic grit, transformed it into the world’s third-largest tractor manufacturer. A gold medalist in Econometrics from the University of Madras and a Wharton MBA graduate, her leadership was defined by high-impact moves like the acquisition of Eicher Motors and forming global partnerships with giants like AGCO Corporation. Beyond the factory floor, she serves as the Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) and has held influential board positions at Tata Steel and the U.S.-India Business Council. Honored with the Padma Shri in 2014 for her contributions to Trade and Industry, Mallika Srinivasan’s legacy is a masterclass in how academic excellence, combined with bold administrative leadership, can drive sustainable rural development and global excellence.

: Supriya Sahu – The Climate Warrior Turning the Heat Down! 🌡️❄️

This , we salute Supriya Sahu, an IAS officer and the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu, whose practical approach to climate change is earning global applause.

As the force behind Chennai’s "Cool Roof Initiative," Supriya Sahu tackled the city's scorching heatwaves head-on. By utilizing solar-reflective white paint on rooftops, this project successfully reduced indoor temperatures by 5–8°C, providing immediate relief to thousands of families. Her efforts, part of the wider Urban Heat Mitigation Project, have been so impactful that she was recently honored with the 2025 'Champions of the Earth' award by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

For every woman navigating a career transition or return:
Supriya Sahu’s success is a reminder that leadership is about observation and action. Whether you are returning to a field or entering a new one, your unique perspective on "simple fixes" for "complex problems" is your greatest asset.

The pressure to “catch up” can quietly drain your confidence — especially when it feels like everyone else is moving faster.

But life isn’t a race with one timeline.

Careers pause. Paths change. People restart. And none of that means you’re behind.

This Monday, shift your focus.
Instead of trying to catch up with others, start moving forward at your own pace.

Because progress isn’t about speed — it’s about direction.

At indePenn, we support women in restarting their careers with clarity, structure, and guidance — so every step feels meaningful, not overwhelming.

: P. Lingamma – The Grassroots Warrior Who Broke Every Chain! ⛓️

This , we are in awe of Purusaala Lingamma, a Chenchu tribal woman from Telangana whose journey is the ultimate masterclass in transformation. Just a decade ago, Lingamma was trapped in a cycle of bonded labor in the Nallamala forests, tied to moneylenders and forced into exploitation. Today, she stands as the elected Sarpanch of Amaragiri village and a national award winner.

The Road to Revolution:

A Life in Shadows: Born into a system of generational debt, Lingamma spent decades as an illiterate bonded laborer, fishing for exploiters just to survive.

The Turning Point: In 2016, she was among 100 people rescued by government officials. That rescue wasn't just an exit; it was her entrance into leadership.

National Recognition: In March 2026, Lingamma traveled to New Delhi to receive the ‘Aagaaz-e-Shakti' Award, recognized for her excellence in grassroots politics and governance.

Restarting your career can feel overwhelming not because you’re incapable, but because you don’t know where to begin. This 7-day plan is designed to simplify that process. Instead of trying to do everything at once, focus on one small step each day — clarity, preparation, action, and reflection.

Progress doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from consistent movement.

At indePenn, we help women build that momentum with guidance, mentorship, and a supportive community — so restarting feels structured, not stressful.

You don’t need to do everything.
You just need to start. 💛

Returning to work after a break isn’t just a professional shift — it’s an emotional journey. Some days you’ll feel motivated, confident, and ready to take on the world. Other days, self-doubt may creep in and make you question your progress. Both experiences are part of the comeback.

Growth doesn’t happen in perfect, straight lines. It happens through small steps, patience, and support along the way.

At indePenn, we believe women don’t need constant motivation — they need understanding, mentorship, and a community that respects their journey.

Your pace is valid. Your comeback is valid. 💛

This , indePenn celebrates the courageous legal pioneers who transformed their personal struggles into landmark victories for human rights and dignity in India. We honor the unwavering spirit of Bhanwari Devi, whose fight against assault in 1992 birthed the Vishaka Guidelines and the subsequent POSH Act, 2013, forever changing the landscape of workplace safety for millions. Her legacy of defiance is echoed in the historic achievements of Shayara Bano, who struck down the unconstitutional practice of instant Triple Talaq, and Shreya Singhal, the law student who successfully fought for online free speech by challenging Section 66A of the IT Act. From the Supreme Court’s recognition of transgender persons as the "third gender" in the NALSA ruling to the dismantling of colonial-era adultery laws in Joseph Shine v. Union of India, these cases prove that the Constitution is a living shield for equality. These trailblazers didn't just ask for justice; they redefined the very fabric of Indian law, proving that one voice can indeed move mountains.

Feeling ready but still stuck can be frustrating. You’ve prepared, planned, and thought it through - yet taking the first step feels heavier than it should.

That’s because readiness isn’t just about skills. It’s also emotional. Fear of change, mental overload, waiting for perfect timing - these quiet barriers often hold us back more than capability does.

This is a reminder that feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re incapable. It means you need momentum, not pressure.

At indePenn, we support women in turning readiness into movement - with clarity, mentorship, and a community that understands the comeback journey.

Feeling behind in life can quietly drain your confidence — especially when everyone around you seems to be moving faster. But what we often compare are their visible milestones with our private struggles. Every journey has pauses, detours, and slower seasons that don’t show up on social feeds.

Being “behind” isn’t a fact. It’s a feeling shaped by comparison.

This is your reminder that growth doesn’t follow one timeline. Your path, pace, and priorities are valid.

This International Women’s Day, we’re talking about something no one taught us to see — invisible privilege. 🌱

Some advantages are so subtle we barely notice them. But over time, they shape confidence, opportunities, and careers — often without ever being questioned.

Today isn’t about blame — it’s about awareness.
It’s about creating space for equal opportunity.

💬 Tell us — what’s one invisible privilege you noticed only later in life?

Why we started indePenn...

We each have over 30 years of experience in the business world. We have juggled careers, marriage, motherhood and elder-care responsibilities. We understand that evolving life circumstances pose many constraints to women’s careers and we set ourselves an ambitious mission to address these.

We would like to help women build a career that accepts these multiple priorities and provides them the joy and achievement that comes from using every capability to its fullest. We believe that each of us can be a wife, a mother, a daughter and a member of the community and can still build a satisfying professional life.
