Not every workspace needs to sound the same.

A well-designed workplace responds to different levels of activity, from focused work and quiet concentration to collaboration and group discussions. Acoustic materials, spatial zoning, and thoughtful enclosure help create this balance without disconnecting people from the larger workplace.

Because good acoustic design isn’t about eliminating sound. It’s about giving every activity the right environment to happen in.

Old buildings don’t always need a new beginning. Sometimes, they need a new purpose.

Adaptive reuse allows existing structures to carry forward what is worth keeping, while making room for something entirely new.

The way we work rarely stays the same. Our spaces shouldn't either.

This workplace was designed to shift with changing needs, from focused work to collaborative discussions and larger gatherings, without losing clarity or purpose. Flexibility isn't an added feature here. It's built into the way the space functions.

A site visit is less about measuring land and more about reading it.

The conversations, discoveries, and unexpected moments on site often become the strongest ideas in a project. Architecture grows from what the site is willing to reveal.

Planning a project? Let's begin by understanding the place.

A small experiment we couldn’t resist.

We fed some of our early conceptual sketches and rough SketchUp exports from an ongoing project into AI, gave it very little creative freedom, and asked it to generate architectural renders.

The result? Something that sits somewhere between our design intent and the machine’s imagination.

To be clear, the design is nowhere near recognizable in its actual form anymore—AI took a few liberties (and then a few more). But the outputs are undeniably interesting, unexpected, and at times surprisingly beautiful.

A reminder that AI is still a terrible architect, but occasionally a fascinating sketch partner.

Swipe through to see what happens when concept drawings meet algorithmic overconfidence. 😄

Some elements do more than occupy space. They organise it.

This sculptural intervention anchors the plan while preserving openness, creating a clear threshold without enclosing the space. Curved forms, integrated storage, and carefully framed details come together to guide movement and define transition with intention.

Every element has a role. Every detail contributes to the whole.

Thinking about a home that's designed around the way you live? Let's start the conversation.

Presenting Ente Keralam 2.0 at Besant Nagar, Madras.

Back in 2019, when we designed the brand’s outlet at Poes Garden, the brief was rooted in a very different context. The restaurant lived within a home, the dining experience was more intimate, and the F&B landscape itself was in a different place.

Fast forward to today, and the canvas has changed completely.

A larger footprint. An open commercial space. A younger audience. New expectations. A more progressive menu.

Instead of recreating what worked before, we chose to reimagine what Ente Keralam could become. The challenge was to retain the warmth and authenticity that people associate with the brand, while giving it a fresher, more contemporary expression that reflects its growth and the evolving tastes of its patrons.

The result is not a reinvention, but an evolution. A space that respects its roots while looking firmly towards the future.

A special thanks to our client Tarun and the team at Advantage Foods for trusting us with this journey. It is always a privilege to work with clients who are willing to embrace change, challenge familiar ideas, and allow design to participate in shaping the next chapter of their story.

A site is never a blank canvas. It arrives with its own spatial logic, and the architect's first responsibility is to read it accurately.
The exposed concrete structure reveals the column grid. The unfinished staircase already demonstrates how light will shape movement between levels. The slab height sets the proportion of every space that follows.
Our design decisions are curated directly from these conditions.

WE’RE HIRING

Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer

T. Nagar, Chennai

We’re looking for a curious, detail-obsessed designer to join our team.

At Crea Projects, you’ll work on luxury homes, hospitality projects, workplaces, and everything in between. This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your days colouring plans and moving furniture blocks around.

You’ll be involved in:

• Concept development & space planning
• Interior design documentation & detailing
• Material, furniture & lighting selections
• Vendor and site coordination
• Styling, installations & project handovers
• Real projects, real clients, real responsibilities

Requirements

• Architecture or Interior Design graduate
• 0–2 years experience (freshers welcome)
• AutoCAD & SketchUp proficiency
• Good design sensibility and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn, experiment and take ownership

Studio Culture

Hours: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM (Mon–Fri)

We’re a young, ambitious studio. There will be days when you leave on time and days when a deadline, installation, or site challenge demands a little more. We value people who are excited by the process and see every project as an opportunity to grow.

A Small Test

When you apply, tell us about a building, interior, piece of furniture, hotel, restaurant, or everyday object that fascinates you—and why.

We’re interested in how you think, not just what you’ve drawn.
