Egy Stitch & Tex 2026

Mill owners, technical heads and buyers from across Egypt's textile chain visited to discuss their yarn requirements, expansion plans and how LMW's spinning technology can support them.

Conversations went deeper today - fine counts on Egyptian cotton, compact yarn and yarn quality for export fabrics. The LK69 S Comber remained the centre of many of them.

In today's evolving textile industry, spinning mills are focused on improving yarn quality, enhancing productivity, and achieving consistent spinning performance. LMW's Spinpact SIRO Compact Spinning technology for Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) processing demonstrates significant improvements in yarn strength, regularity, and production efficiency compared to conventional ring spinning.

A strong opening day for LMW. Spinners, weavers, knitters, and garment makers from across Egypt's textile chain visited through the day to discuss their yarn requirements, upcoming projects, and how LMW's spinning technology can support them. The LK69 S Comber on display anchored many of those discussions.

In the evening, 𝗖𝗢𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗠𝗪 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗭𝗘, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗣.𝗝. addressed the exchange program "Why great fabrics are engineered at the spindle, not the loom". Drawing on field results from customer mills, he made the case that evenness, hairiness, strength, and twist are determined in the spinning line, and that the loom can only reveal what the yarn already carries.

Enhance Draw frame performance with the Oscillating Top Arm Arrangement, designed to support consistent sliver quality and reliable operation. The self-aligning top roller holders ensure smooth movement with respect to the bottom rollers, while the modified web collector helps enhance the efficiency.

LMW joined industry leaders at the Second International Textile Forum Tajikistan 2026, held on September 23 at Dushanbe, to explore the technologies shaping that transition.

Presenting “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹,” 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗝𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗢𝗢, 𝗟𝗠𝗪 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗭𝗘, shared how integrated automation and connected systems can enable a continuous flow from bale to yarn - reducing manual handling, improving productivity and supporting consistent yarn quality.

Engineered with 720 CC Smart Spinning Geometry, CREDO+ Rings, HLED Spindles, and advanced compact spinning technology, the LRJ 9/SX delivered over 28% improvement in GPSS, higher spindle speeds, improved CSP, lower U%, reduced total imperfections, and lower hairiness while maintaining the same raw material and process parameters when compared with their existing ring frame.

This achievement reflects LMW's commitment in delivering advanced spinning solutions that enable higher productivity, superior yarn quality, and consistent spinning performance.
