*MCA MGT-7 / MGT-7A Filing Update*

While filing Form MGT-7 / MGT-7A, it is now mandatory to affix a photograph of the registered office along with the company signboard.

🎯Signboard Requirements (as per Section 12(3) of the Companies Act, 2013):
The signboard must display the following in

1. English and
2. in the language(s) in general use in that locality

(i.e., the language(s) that are widely spoken and understood by the people in that specific area or region. As per the Official Languages Act & State Rules: India has 22 scheduled languages (like Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, etc.) but “general use” means the dominant regional language in everyday transactions.
