Tetseo Sisters, the Naga songsters and siblings, Mercy, Azi, Alune and Kuvelu, have spent their young lives promoting the nearly forgotten music of the Chakhesang tribe that they have inherited. Adorned in the traditional garb of their tribe, these cultural ambassadors of the North-East have been widely received and appreciated. They have appeared on countless stages, their audience ranging from s

chool children in Delhi to head of states and music lovers around the country. They have been featured in numerous cultural events and are regulars at Music Festivals around the country including Hornbill Music Festival, Storm Festival, North East Festival, Kalakshetra Foundation, Cultures of Peace series, Folk Nations and more recently at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2014. We sing our "Li" in the Chokri dialect of the Chakhesang Naga tribe of Nagaland and our songs are often accompanied by the age old Naga one stringed instrument, the "Tati/Heka Libuh". We are trying to keep the tribal Naga tradition of folk singing alive and in our songs, we tell the stories of our people, their joys and sorrows, hopes and aspirations.
