Amguri Takes a Green Leap: MRF & Waste-to-Compost Plant Inagurated and Now Operational🌱

The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and Waste-to-Compost Plant in Amguri was successfully inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister, DoHUA & PHE, Shri Jayanta Malla Baruah, in the esteemed presence of officials from the Aamguri Municipal Board.

This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in strengthening sustainable and scientific waste management in the region. With advanced segregation, processing, and composting systems, the plant is set to greatly enhance Amguri’s waste management capacity and environmental impact.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Minister Shri Jayanta Malla Baruah for his guidance and support, and to the officials of the Aamguri Municipal Board for their cooperation in making this project a reality.

Today, Hon’ble MLA of Margherita, Shri Bhaskar Sharma, visited our state-of-the-art MRF and Waste-to-Compost Plant site to personally review the progress of work and assess the preparations for the upcoming inauguration by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma on 24th August.

During the visit, he interacted with our Call And Fix - CAF team, inspected the operational readiness, and stressed on timely completion with the highest standards. The project is poised to become a model facility for Upper Assam, showcasing scientific waste management, resource recovery, and environmental sustainability.
