He was 34 years old. He had cerebral palsy, a career built on one of the greatest shows ever made, and a decade of advocacy work that actually changed how Hollywood thinks about disability. And on Monday, RJ Mitte was found dead at his home in Brownsville, Texas.

Most people knew him as Walter White Jr., the son Bryan Cranston’s character claimed he was doing everything for. The boy at the breakfast table. The teenager who loved a father he never really knew. Mitte played that role across all five seasons of Breaking Bad with a quiet naturalism that made the character completely real.

But what he did after the cameras stopped may matter just as much. He worked with United Cerebral Palsy, with Shriners Children’s, and with The Mitte Foundation, pushing for authentic representation of disabled people in mainstream entertainment. He believed disabled actors should play disabled characters, not because of symbolism but because the performance is simply more honest that way.

Authorities say no foul play is suspected. The official cause of death remains under investigation. He was 34.

UP TEACHER SUSPENDED AFTER VIDEO OF ‘TABLA PRANK’ ON STUDENT GOES VIRAL

A primary school teacher in Uttar Pradesh has been suspended after a video showing him pretending to play a tabla on a student's shaved head went viral on social media.

The incident reportedly took place at Birauli Primary School in the Saifai block of Etawah district. The teacher, identified as Dinesh Kumar Mathur, was seen sitting on a chair in the classroom while drumming on the child's head as other students sat nearby.

According to NDTV, the teacher had uploaded the video on his Facebook profile. After the clip circulated widely online, complaints reached the education department. Basic Shiksha Adhikari Dr Rajesh Kumar subsequently suspended the teacher with immediate effect.

The video sparked criticism, with social media users expressing concern about the child's dignity and the possible emotional impact of such behaviour. Many stressed that teachers should create a safe, respectful and supportive environment for students.

The incident has reignited discussions about student safety, responsible teacher conduct and the importance of protecting children's self-esteem in classrooms.

A single voter. Registered ten times.

That is the claim Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav made on Monday, and he did not stop there. He alleged that lakhs of fake and duplicate votes exist across Uttar Pradesh’s 403 assembly constituencies, that the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision process was either compromised or deliberately misused, and that BJP membership has effectively become the deciding factor in whether your vote gets registered at all.

The INDIA Bloc did not stay quiet. Hundreds marched toward the Election Commission’s offices in Delhi, with TMC MP Mahua Moitra calling it a march “towards the seat of justice.”

The BJP says the opposition is manufacturing anarchy. The Election Commission has not issued a detailed public response. And Akhilesh Yadav says the list of fraudulent voter entries is coming.

Before the next election, India deserves to know whether its voter rolls are clean.
