We are immensely proud of the incredible women across our domains who venture into the remotest corners to conduct surveys, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews.

Recently, in Madhya Pradesh's Seoni village, our all-women team collaborated with Sampada Trust for a one-of-a-kind feasibility assessment.

These women, including enumerators and ASK's researchers, worked tirelessly with unmatched passion and perseverance. They gathered both qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring the mission's success and showcasing the true power of dedication and determination.

Update from our

Our Business and Human Rights (BHR) domain is currently undertaking a remediation program for a reputed natural stone export company operating in Kota, Rajasthan.

Key highlights of the remediation include:

• Training and Orientation: Equipping the management team with knowledge of international human rights standards and labor laws at both the country and state levels.

• Policy Enhancement: Updating and refining labor rights policies and in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.

• Strengthening Grievance Mechanisms: Forming and building the capacity of the Grievance Redressal Committee to enhance worker participation and address concerns effectively.

• Legal Compliance: Supporting the management in bridging existing legal gaps.

• Supplier Orientation: Providing orientation and engaging key suppliers, including cobble-making unit owners, on country and state-level legal requirements.

This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering sustainable and ethical practices within the natural stone sector.

In the new year, our domain will initiate another remediation process for a major mining operation in Bundi.
