Conducted the 3rd edition of the TIMELINE Quiz-2026 yesterday at the KBR Auditorium, Cotton University, which was organized by the social organization Biswa Foundation in association with Cotton University. Almost 60 teams from different parts of the state participated in the preliminary round. After 7 rounds of exciting grand finale, Prince Uzir and Himlina Baruah emerged champions and won ₹ 30,000 cash with Shefali Choudhury Memorial Award, books, gifts, and certificates. The second position went to Nayanmoni Baruah of Gauhati Commerce College and Ritottom Tamuli of Cotton University, who jointly received ₹ 20,000 in cash, the Manik Dutta Goswami Memorial Award, gifts, books, and certificates. The third position was bagged by Krishanu Kashyap Biswapati and Bhargav Bhushan of Bhattadev University. They received a ₹10,000 cash prize, the Sankari Das Memorial Award, gifts, books, and certificates.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by eminent dramatist and novelist Prabhat Goswami sir and senior journalist and academician Prasant Jyoti Baruah sir, as chief guests.
