More leads are equal to More Admissions. Is it TRUE or MYTH? Well, Most of the Education Institutes have a misconception that generating More leads in volume produced from Social Media ads and Other ad Platforms will give more admissions as per the conversion ratio. But I want to ask one question, Is it really a good metric of Generating Admissions to our Institute?

During the Counseling call, Most of the Institute Owners asked me to generate more leads in volume so that they can make more conversions to increase their admission rate. But would they ever have analysed the internal metrics of their Lead sheets?

Let's take a look at scenario 1

100 leads have been generated through ads, out of which 40 leads are not qualified , and 60 leads are remaining to contact. Out of 60, most of the leads are cold leads who just opted in to generate general inquiry, let's say 40 and the remaining 20 leads are liable to contact, converse and counsel, out of which 10 take admissions.

So in the general case, the Institute says they have a 10 percent conversion rate but actually it is not. They have talked to 20 qualified leads who are eager to listen to you, understand your course and are ready to take action and 10 leads take admissions which actually give a 50 per cent conversion rate.

But what about the remaining 80 leads who are not qualified as well as who just made the inquiry and will never respond or will take more time to make the decision. Moreover what about the ad spend that got wasted in generating these 80 leads.

My Simple QUESTION, rather than focusing on quantity, why don't we focus on Quality?

Rather than generating 100 leads, why don't we focus on generating 20 qualified leads which could give 10 admissions?
When we start focusing on generating highly qualified leads with proper marketing and sales process, admission or conversion rate will increase to more than 50 per cent which will not only save our Ad budget but also save our Team’s energy and efforts.

Your Marketing Process should be highly mechanised to generate highly qualified leads in that automatically hot and mature leads are generated that will be more likely to convert as admissions.
