*Constitution Day – A Note to My Near and Dear Ones*

Today, as we mark 26 November, it feels right to pause and remember the pillars that hold our nation together. The Constitution isn’t just a legal document; it’s a living promise of justice, liberty, and equality for every citizen.

A special tribute goes to *Dr. Baba Sahib Ambedkar*, the chief architect of our Constitution. His vision of a society free from caste‑based discrimination and his insistence on fundamental rights continue to inspire the work we do each day. Whenever we speak of dignity and equality, we echo his words: _“We are Indians, firstly and lastly.”_

On this day, I urge you—my family, friends, and colleagues—to carry forward that spirit:

- *Reflect* on how the Constitution touches your life, whether it’s the right to education, freedom of speech, or the promise of equal protection.
- *Share* a simple act of respect for diversity—listen to a story from a different community, or stand up against prejudice when you see it.
- *Stay informed*—read a short excerpt from the Preamble or a recent Supreme Court judgment that resonates with you.

Let’s pledge, in our own small ways, to uphold the values that Dr. Ambedkar and the framers gave us. May the light of the Constitution guide us toward a more just and united future.
