Bengali cuisine combines not only the original tastes of West Bengal, but also incorporate the mouth watering simple tastes of Bangladesh which was once upon a time part of Bengal. The state’s history under the rule of the Nawabs also adds a nawabi zaika in its cuisine in the form of Biryani, Kasa Mangsho, Kofta, Kalia and Korma. So from Alooposto to Batichochchori, Muittha to Chingrir Malaicurry, Labda to Ghonto, Bengalis have it all and they love it all.
