A hotel visit to Grand Hyatt Bolgatty Palace, Cochin was organized for the Second Semester BHMCT students on 3rd March 2026.
The objective of the visit was to help students understand the operational aspects of a hotel, with special reference to departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Concierge, Laundry, and other allied departments.
After a brief orientation session by the Training Department, the students were taken on a familiarization tour, where each department and its functions were explained in detail.An interactive session with the hotel personnel further helped the students gain valuable insights into the day-to-day operations and professional practices of the hospitality industry.
