Taking you down memory lane of the friends I have been blessed to have over the years. Since the image is apt, this friend has a bit of the ocean in her name. She also is one of the few people who talks about her grandparents with such fondness. She's kind, supportive and is one of the best listeners I know. Plus she has a memory that's insane. In college, she knew people she hadn't even met (and all the gossip), just from listening to all the exciting stories about my day.

I have known her for 18years. Though we have the quintessential Goan fight (if you know you know), she is someone I am so grateful to have in my life and here's to 18 more.

I have a friend, who's name rhymes with mine, who makes the cheesiest one liners. Though they make me roll my eyes right up into my skull, they are always hilarious and eventually garner a smile.

I was thinking this week might be an ode to some of my friends from the years gone by who have left an indelible mark on me. Through their kindness, joy, struggles and support, laughter, madness, annoyance and uniqueness, my life would just not be the same without them in it.

Final Frolic.

It’s the last of the series of images I’ll share on this lovely project. So much loveeee.

A big and amazing public show of love for who showed up and how for this lovely little project and poured so much of her beautiful soul and personality into it. It couldn’t be this work of beauty without her.

And of course, in true women supporting women style a huge thanks to who’s generous sharing of her LED hoops made for this opportunity to create and set dazzler out into the world. ❤️

I thought I’d have more to say but I’m gonna let the photos talk.

I love naming things. So I be naming this shoot. No biggie. Just like putting labels on everything. 😂 when I was young one of the coolest things I’d ever seen (and i rarely got permission to use) was a Label Maker (type old school label gun into google and you’ll see what I mean). Oooooooo I loved that thing.

All for good probably, else everything and person in the house would have a sticker on it. 😂

Psychedelic Frolic!

I feel so epic when I have an idea and then bring it to life and somehow it turns out even better than I had it in my mind. I almost didn't reach out to lovely Shravani because I was afraid I would be too weird. When she said she didn't have an LED hoop and found me someone who did, I almost didn't reach out to Vajra because of fear.

These are the moments I want to remember. Where I pushed past fear, I pushed past possible rejection, I pushed past telling myself that my idea sucks. Instead, I slowly and calmly reassured myself and just went for it, one step at a time.

I mean, an idea is only worth anything if it's set free. And I know 2024 is that year. Of dreaming big and setting those ideas free. I am not doing it for the social media or the adoration and praise of others. All that if it comes is a nice bonus.

I am doing this because the ideas torment me in my brain when they are net set out into the world. Because someone is meant to see them, be inspired and set free ideas of their own. And for that, here I am, in my vulnerable best.
