Automating Invoice Data Entry from Gmail to Google Sheets!
Excited to share a recent project that automates invoice data entry for a client!
This solution reads data directly from Gmail table and seamlessly transfers it to Google Sheets, eliminating manual data entry and saving them valuable time.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Capture the Data - The system identifies emails containing invoice data based on predefined criteria.
Step 2: Extract & Process - Google Apps Script goes to work, extracting and processing the relevant data from the email tables.
Step 3: Populate the Sheet - The extracted and processed data is neatly populated into a designated Google Sheet for easy access and analysis.
Step 4: Continuous Flow - To ensure all invoices are captured, the system scans Gmail every hour, automatically processing new emails with matching criteria and pushing the data to the sheet.

This automation not only saves time but also increases accuracy by minimizing manual data entry errors.
