Extension of due date of furnishing of Income Tax Returns and Audit Reports :

In order to provide more time to taxpayers for furnishing of Income Tax Returns, it has been decided to further extend the due date for furnishing of Income-Tax Returns as under:

(A) The due date for furnishing of Income Tax Returns for the taxpayers (including their partners) who are required to get their accounts audited [for whom the due date (i.e. before the extension by the said notification) as per the Act is 31st October, 2020] has been extended to 31st January, 2021.

(B) The due date for furnishing of Income Tax Returns for the taxpayers who are required to furnish report in respect of international/specified domestic transactions [for whom the due date (i.e. before the extension by the said notification) as per the Act is 30th November, 2020] has been extended to 31st January, 2021.

(C) The due date for furnishing of Income Tax Returns for the other taxpayers [for whom the due date (i.e. before the extension by the said notification) as per the Act was 31st July, 2020] has been extended to 31st December, 2020.

Consequently, the date for furnishing of various audit reports under the Act including tax audit report and report in respect of international/specified domestic transaction has also been extended to 31st December, 2020.

The name "Tanishq" was a masterstroke coined by Xerxes Desai then Vice Chairman & MD of Titan Industries. The name took "๐—ง๐—ฎ" from Tata and "๐—ก๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ธ" means piece of jewelry.

5. "๐—”๐—บ๐˜‚๐—น "
๐—”nand ๐— ilk ๐—จnion ๐—Ÿimited of Anand district in Gujarat started the Amul Brand by picking the first letters of the Union's names in 1946 & became Indiaโ€™s first commercially made Butter.

6. "๐—ง๐—ฉ๐—ฆ"
A transportation company was founded in 1911 by ๐—งhirukkurungudi ๐—ฉengaram ๐—ฆundram Iyengar - Chennai by picking the first letters of his initials. Now it is a well diversified company in many fields.

7. "๐—–๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฎ"
The founder Dr. K.A. Hamied initially named the company as ๐—–hemical, ๐—œndustrial and ๐—ฃharmaceutical ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎboratories in 1935 in Mumbai. Now it is a leading drug manufacturer.

8. "๐——๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฎ Bank"
It was founded on 26 May 1938 by the family of ๐——๐—ฒvkaran ๐—ก๐—ฎnjee, an Indian financier more popularly known as C.D. Desai.

Two brothers J.C. and K.C. The company was incorporated on 29 December 1945 in Amalner, Maharashtra by Mohamed Premji as "๐—ชestern ๐—œndia ๐—ฃalm ๐—ฅefined ๐—ขil Limited". Later In 1966, after Mohamed Premji's death, his son Azim Premji took over Wipro as its Chairman at the age of 21 and entered in software development.

The move comes as the Modi government aims to widen the tax base by using data of high value transactions to look for tax evaders...
This means that financial institutions and other firms may have to report transactions that are above the prescribed thresholds.
The other transactions that will come under the scanner include payment of life insurance premium of above Rs 50,000, payment of health insurance premium and property tax payment of more than Rs 20,000 and electricity consumption of above Rs 1 lakh.
